I have absolutely put these to the test (I purchased another after seeing the first ones performance), and they have proved themselves worthy! I regularly use these for my training, consisting of everything from 22lr, 9mm, 5.56, and 300 blackout - and they can take it all! Of course, for both safety and longevity; I recommend staying at least 7 yards back from lower caliber (up to 9mm) and 20 yards for stuff like 5.56. These have seen hundreds of rounds and have yet shown any serious pitting. The only thing that WILL inevitably fail, is the hanging bolt face. It is made of a cheaper alloy, and 5.56 and higher calibers will definitely eat it up after awhile. Thankfully, these are easily replaced, and they come with a back up out of the box. Otherwise; 100% worth every penny for the serious shooter who wants to set up their own training ground.

Pretty surprised with this targets durability at its given price point. It has kept up astonishingly well after 10,000+ rounds. Virtually 0 pitting even with 556 rounds at less than the recommended 100 yds. All around a very solid purchase and would 100% recommend it.

Took spicy 10mm at 10 yards and spicy 308 and 6.5prc at 100m no pitting. The powder coating didn't last long but I didn't expect it to.

Ive taken the 2 targets to the range that I purchased. Both targets held up great against both pistol (9mm, 45acp) and rifle (7.62×39, 5.56) ammunition.

I spent a hundred and fifty dollars building a strap hanging metal target bigger than this one. It doesn’t always ring when hit, it sways around. This single vertical 2x4 with an X base of 2x6 can be made in an hour and the hardware attached in minutes. If you destroy the vertical 2x4 it’s easy and cheap to replace. The hardware hangs at an angle the bottom towards the post. The bolt holding the target has a heavy spring that absorbs the bullet impact and resets the target. If you hit it there’s a ring! The metal target is good for.22 7yards, 9mm 25 yards, soft point rifle center fire 100 yards or more. I think it will last quite well as the target protects the hardware. I am happy with my purchase.

Works great, doesn't work with the BASH hostage target, which is no big deal. Took a 270 at 200 no problem. Definitely buying another later. 4 stars cause it was mot interchange, but i guess it probably does deserve 5.

Amazing product! When I bought it I was a bit hesitant but I’ve put over 400 rounds of 9mm and close to 300 rounds of 7.62*39 and the plate is impecable, no dents or deformations! Will be ordering more!

I purchased this plate for a sub 500 Weinrauch HW50 S .22. More than enough steel here to handle ANY RANGE OF PELLET GUN at any range! Wildly exceeded my expectations! This was built for powder burners. I got it on Amazon Days so I am more than pleased with the purchase EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY heavy duty steel. Very thick steel plate. 1/2” AR500 Steel! See the second picture. Springs, bracket etc all heavy duty. Well made! There is more here than I will ever need.

Pretty good but not as advertised. Lead tip .222 and .270 left small craters at 100 yards. I wouldn't dare try FMJ or larger calibers.
