Spigen Galaxy S9 Case [Rugged Armor] Original Patent Carbon Fiber Design Galaxy S9 (2018) Cover Shock Absorption - 592CS22834 [Black]

I've purchased Spigen phone cases before and they've all been well designed and good quality. This one is no different, it fits my S9 really well providing protection without adding unnecessarily to the bulk of this super thin phone. All the buttons are accessible and operate positively whilst sensibly the rear cut out for the camera lens and flash has chamfered edges so it doesn't obstruct use of the fingerprint scanner (which I've found a problem on some other cases). The matt finish material looks and feels premium and is non- slip to hold, if you put the phone face down on a table the case keeps the glass off the surface. I was hoping to find a case which had an all over carbon fibre look but TBH this Spigen case is probably more practical and the carbon fibre accents on the back do look like carbon fibre whereas I suspect many of the all over carbon fibre cases, many of which are just printed, would look more obviously fake and the print would wear off quite quickly. Real carbon fibre cases are expensive and whilst they look cool probably don't provide such good drop protection as this one. I am overall, very pleased with my purchase.

Before purchasing this product I was concerned that it wouldn't protect the screen when falling face down on a surface and I was also hesitant as to whether I would still be able to see the nice curved edges on my phone. This case is raised by about 3mm on the top and bottom edges which keeps the phone safe and falling face down however at the sides case is thinner so you can still see the curved glass edges. This is perfect as I can still use all the features of my phone whilst being protected. It fit perfectly and I've had no issues with the case pushing against buttons accidently. It's also fairly low profile so it doesn't make the phone look too clunky. In fact it looks pretty stylish on my phone. I would recommend this case, especially when comparing to more expensive brands such as Gear 4, this is such great value for money and it looks really nice too.

I’ve used Spigen products before, covers and screen protesters. The last time was for a Galaxy S7. So buying form them again was a no-brainer. And they’ve not let me down. It fits my phone with perfection, allowing room for screen protectors other than their own. The ‘button covers’ are all in the right place and are light to touch in order for the phone to react. This case is a little more flexible than the one I have on a S7 but it still offers the same sort of protective and grips well in my hand. It’s also nice and slim and barely has an effect on bulkyfying (is that a word?) the phone at all. In all, another fine product which fits well and looks the part without any hassles at all.

The look and feel of the case is good and has a quality feel. The cover seems durable and looks like it will certainly offer good protection when you drop your phone. It does make the phone feel a bulky considering the S9 is quite slick. A minor point as I'd rather have a slightly bulky phone than a damaged one. Also the gaps for the charger and headphones at the bottom tend to dig into your little finger when holding it with hand as most of us do. I'm very happy with my purchase and if you can overlook the minor faults I'll highly recommend this product.

Love it, as usual. The Spigen cases are well made, feature good corner protection and projects over the screen for a bit of protection there too. Feels really nice, slightly grippy, without causing a jam in the pocket. Doesn't interfere with the screen and is not thick so doesn't really add to the phone's bulk. The one gripe I have is that the Bixby button (terrible) on the left of the phone below the volume buttons has been given the usual ridged grip normally associated with the power button. Obviously I have de-activated Bixby as the pointless waffle it is, but that leaves this ridged "key" button performing no function. Why is the power button not ridged instead. So that I can tell where it is regardless of phone orientation? 'Tis but a small whinge and I guess if you use Bixby (ha!) it will probably not bother you much. Anyway, it's good, and I will continue to view Spigen cases as market leading.

Got this case for my replacements phone having not had a case on the previous one and it breaking decided to get a case for this one and glad I did. this case is perfect i am quite clumsy and a few minor drops and bumps and when you take the case off the phone looks as good as new now chips or smashed glass (annoying how they make the back out of glass aswell on s9) this case has held up amazing, doesn't add much bulk to the phone once you have it on still feels sleek and light weight but protects from damage . . . also looks very stylish which is always a plus

Had the respective case for my S8 for years and was very impressed. Upgraded to an S9, so bought this one without hesitation. Very good price, for a great protective case. Very easy and comfortable to hold (not plasticky like some), protects the screen and case well, and is basically the same as the S8 version (just with appropriately updated positioning for the buttons and camera / fingerprint sensor) so I assume it will also be very durable / last for years (only been using this one for a few weeks so far). Wouldn't look anywhere else for Samsung phone cases. Great value and a great product - 5* all day long for me.

I have only just got this cover for my S9, but I bought it primarily because I have had one on my S6 for a few years. The S6 has been extremely well protected by the cover (the phone has been dropped a number of times, been in dirty and dusty situations, and generally not been treated delicately!), and looks much better than I expect when I remove the cover. So no hesitation in buying one for my new S9, or in recommending this brand. The case does not sit as 'proud' of the screen edge on the S9 as the S6, but that is because of the curved screen. Dont see it as a problem though. Just like the S6 case, the S9 case buttons and cutouts are perfectly positioned. I also bought an amFilm screen protector for the S9; it fits beautifully with the Spigen case and I would recommend this combination. Only tiny downside is that, although the Spigen case does look and feel pretty good, it will never have the same visual or tactile appeal as the actual S9. But thats the same for all cases, and I'd MUCH rather have my lovely phone still in one piece next time I drop it, than lose its looks (and possibly functionality) through not having protection. If you have a phone without a case, get one of these! Now!!

The case looks good and is slim.

This case is awesome, has prevented major cracks and stuff from hurting my phone. Has a nice anti-oil texture and allows for every USB C and headphone jack to fit into the phone. But if u use it for an extended period of time and constantly take your phone out of the case, it will start to like stretch a little bit and the phone will start to like wiggle around in the case

Best Case EVER 👌

Habe mir diese Hülle bestellt, da das Vorgängermodell sehr gut abgeschnitten hat. Bislang bin ich nicht enttäuscht. Dies ist die erste Hülle dieser Art für mich, daher habe ich keine Vergleichswerte. Die Hülle hat ein sehr schönes und doch schlichtes Design. Sie ist Passgenau und relativ schlank. Lässt das Handy also nicht klobig wirken. Der Fingerabdrucksensor lässt sich weiterhin problemlos bedienen. Ebenso lassen sich alle anderen Tasten an der Außenseite des Gerätes bestens bedienen. Beim betätigen der Knöpfe gibt es kein wackeln, ruckeln und auch kein schwammiges Gefühl. Fühlt sich genauso an, wie es sein sollte. Die Seiten des geschwungenen Displays lassen sich problemlos bedienen, da die Hülle dort einen "Ausschnitt" hat. An der Ober- und Unterseite ist die Hülle wenige Millimeter höher. So, dass das Display keinen (glatten/geraden) Untergrund berührt. Ob sich problemlos ein weiterer Schutz in Form von Panzerglas aufbringen lässt, kann ich noch nicht sagen. Wird aber in den nächsten Tagen ausprobiert. Bei dem Vorgängermodell für ein älteres Modell wurden "scharfe Kanten" bemängelt, die das Halten des Gerätes unangenehm gestalten sollen. Dies ist mir bei dieser Hülle nicht aufgefallen. Und ich hatte das Handy mit Hülle mehrere Stunden in der Hand! Ob die Hülle nun wirklich bei Stürzen hilft kann ich (zum Glück) nicht beurteilen. Hoffe auch, dass ich diese Erfahrung nicht Zeitnah machen werde. Da ich wie bereits erwähnt, keinen Vergleich habe und mir nichts negatives aufgefallen ist, bekommt diese Hülle 5 Sterne von mir. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen und auch weiterempfehlen.
