I've had a very old pair of Sabatier kitchen knives for ages. They must be 10 years old now or more. And they are still the best knives in the drawer. They cut really well without being so sharp that they are dangerous. And they never seem to get blunt. We wash them by hand to preserve them. We wanted a slightly larger knife and bought this hoping it would be as good as the old ones. So far it seems just right. As easy to use, as sharp and amazingly cheap when you consider the rubbish you can buy for a similar price. Highly recommended

This knife is fantastic - so sharp and such a versatile length - probably my most used knife for prepping vegetables.

Lovely well made knife, great value for money. However the handle is too small for me. I have small hands (small hands doesn't mean small willy!), so as you see from the picture the handle is too small to hold firmly. The wife loves it....Leave it!!!

Well made but blunt - I think they forgot to sharpen it.

I have now bought two more of these knives, making four in total. The first two still look bright, they're stainless steel and sharpen easily. All are easy to handle. The quality is excellent. They slice through all manner of food without any pressure. Time will tell if they live up to the 25 year guarantee! Impressive though isn't it. I have bought one of their sharpeners. A few quick pulls and the blades are sharp without any undulations that I have noticed with cheaper sharpeners.

I purchased this knife recently for multi purpose food preparation, what can be said other than this blade is of a great size and quality and has been honed to a super sharp edge. It feels solid and safe in the hand. I am sure I will be using this knife for many trouble free years, The quality of the steel appears to be very good. If you are looking for a great multi purpose knife then in my opinion look no further, you have found it.
