Games Workshop - Warhammer - Horus Heresy: Legiones Astartes: MK III Tactical Squad

Great product. A really good amount of models for the price, most games workshop sets will cost around the same for half the amount (This may be because the overall point value of those sets are greater, but this doesn't matter if you don't plan on playing the tabletop too much). The MkIII models are by far some of the coolest looking space marines and they allow for lots of customising with Kit-Bashes. However the set only comes with one transfer sheet, with just Imperial fists and Sons of Horus emblems. The sergeants are the only models with multiple weapons, those being: Power fists, Plasma pistols or a power sword. The rest of the infantry are relegated to bolters, requiring you buy a Horus Heresy weapon kit or kit-bash your own to give the infantry different weapons. These issues are minor though, as people who are really concerned with these things tend to already be into Warhammer and therefore have spare pieces from other sets. The box was slightly damaged, but this is probably due to the fact it was shipped overseas to Australia from England. None of the contents inside the box were damaged except for a minor dent in the transfer sheet, that may have been caused by shipping or myself. Overall the set is a good way to get lots of models to fill your space marine armies cheaply, especially for battleline units.

Better sculpts than 40k, and better value for the cost. Though my painting skills do these models a disservice, I have included with my review pictures of two separate models from this box I'm splitting with my partner. Includes enough extra or optional bits to get a decent amount added to your bit box
