Bought this for my one month Asia trip and while I love its sturdiness and quality I wasn’t allowed to use it in most airplanes (I took about 15 flights with 6 different airlines) because it can be an obstacle in case of emergency, so if you want it for your night stand or desk it works great, otherwise don’t waste your money.

This is a very strong magnet it holds the phone. The phone does not fall off. It can be used while the airplane tray is closed. This is the 2nd one I buy. I gave this one as a gift.

I have been trying to find a good option for an airplane trip I am taking soon for my switch. I don't like the Joycons at all so I use a full sized controller when I can, last year I tried the split pad pro but you can't remap the buttons so I did not use it much so this year I was looking for something to mount the switch to the tray or seat back and found this type of mount. Because the Switch does not have the ring to mount it to I was looking for one that came with a ring I could stick to the switch, one that is small enough it is not a bother for neighbors or fills up my bag, one with a thin mounting end I could use with the tray closed and this one ticked all my boxes. While I have not traveled yet I did mount to ring on the switch and it shook it around, turbulence like, and it seems more than strong enough to hold the extra weight of the larger/heavier switch. Bonus I can switch between the switch and my phone super quick and easy. UPDATE: Took it on my trip and it worked great, could not recommend more, I mounted it with the tray table up, worked perfectly, was right at eye level. The trip down was pretty rough at times and the switch did not move at all. When we got closer i put the Switch away and used it for my phone, so easy. The only thing that would make it better is if the Switch had better games, but that is not the holder's fault.

This magnet when combined with my OhSnap magnet are almost TOO good. The spring is super strong so it's not gonna go anywhere. I think i lost mine. I would buy this again, but I think i might look for one that folds up a little more compact. This one worked perfectly though. I wont be saving more than a few cm of space.

Extremely versatile! I can always find something on an airline backseat or tray table to connect it to. It has a ball hinge that allows you to turn & flip the magnet any which way you want so that your device is just where you want it. I use it with a magsafe phone case and it is super secure. Especially great for flights with no entertainment screen.
