These are absolutely perfect for carp fishing! I bought these originally for my son as he had trouble casting pack baits. I said why not try some myself and I have loved the results! I have beat my personal best carp twice in the last month since I first purchased these! I even sold 10 of mine to a friend and 6 to another friend! So I just had to order another 20 for myself and my son. I highly recommend these for beginner or experienced carp fishermen! We have caught way more fish since we started using these! These are better built then others I've purchased!

Bought 4/18/26 seems good quality I use pack bait jello bread crumbs and corn so should do the trick and keep the bait on better than other method feeders

I bought the smaller size to try it on catfish. Ran about 10 in. of line beyond the cage and baited it with worm. First time out caught 3 cats, good size for the lake, 3-5 lbs. Cage bait was cat food after pulverizing in blender, dash of veg oil, dash of corn meal, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of canned corn, added water to consistency, ran it all in the blender to mix. Some hand kneading may be required. The idea of cat food was to be more inline with catfish than carp. Mixture pressed into cage fairly easily and remained after casting.

The cages them selves are 5 stars. No sharp edges to catch your line. Holds pack bait well. The reason these got a 4 star review is price. I don't feel like these are cost effective.

They are great, I have caught over ten carp with these and have only had them a couple of days. One thing that is notable is that they are black in color. This is very helpful as I have found from ordering and using some other metal/silver feeders that sometimes the silver can scare or deter the carp away. Really holds the pack bait in nice and tight for far casts without the bait falling off.
