Used it for an hour long session with two coals and had a much better smoking experience than when I used foil. As long as you have it packed properly, you should have no issues. It's also very easy to clean. Just be careful because it does get really hot.

Worked really well! The coals stayed lit for a really long time, even without constantly pulling the hookah. Made the pulls a lot smoother. Easy to work with and clean, and kept the coals so hot that they were almost on fire
