A Very Nice Unity With Lots Of Features
I am THOROUGHLY Pleased with this repeater. It is leagues ahead of that cheap-o model I Knew I ought to have not gotten in the first place. Even the box had nice presentation. Decent, if not short manual, an actual app to configure it and setup was a breeze. The interface is fully featured and you have both temp tunnel access and a full web c loud interface that is free to use.. The interface features remind me of my Ubiquity.. It even can do scheduled optimization tasks and more. Some features are for router mode or AP mode of course, but it does.. have pots of features all the same.. upgradable firmware, etc. and you know??? It kind of reminds me of that anime rabbit in appearance. Signal power is excellent.. noooo problems, and speed is right on par. It even ahs an IoT extension network available. Sooooo in conclusion, It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but... you get what you pay for, of course... I can definitely recommend this unit.. Namaste...

Fastest setup ever
Needed a WI FI extender and new from previous experience that the process to activate one is somewhat difficult if your not a computer wiz, I had just bought the reyee router to replace my 8 yr. Old netgear. The install much easier than netgear so then started speed testing all around my house. Found my service dropped from @220 mbs to 17 mbs outside on my pool/ deck area. @ 40 ft and a concrete wall separate this area from the router Was surprised to find reyee made an extender to match my router and didn't know it has the mesh feature ie. One button to connect, done in less than five min. MY NEW SPEED TEST at my back door now at @ 120 mbs and another 35 ft out at the back of the pool area is @80 mbs .with no lag while running a pad ,ruku tv , phone at the same time . For me was a little sceptical reyee isn't that big of a name (maybe I don't know that's the point) Works better than expected and couldn't be happier with the install. I give this unit a 5 star for price point, ease of install, operation. Would definitely recommend

Good signal strength
This is my second extender, the first one didn't like my SSID because of special characters in the name. And the other one was not able to work too far away from my wireless router. I did some more research and came across this one and thought I would give it a try. The Reyee RG-REX12 worked with my SSID, and it worked about 50 feet away from the router, in the laundry room. It gave me between a 20 - 30% boost in signal strength (thats why I gave it three stars). I didn't expect 70%, but I was hoping for around 50%. I don't remember the actual numbers off the top of my head, but we have not had any slowdowns or buffering in the back of the house since I installed it. Thanks, Robert

WPA2 is obsolete so if you want secure WI-Fi buy this extender to get WPA3
Most of the extenders do not tell you whether or not they are WPA3 capable. They only support WPA2 which if you look up Wi-Fi Protected Access or WPA2 or WPA3 on Wikipedia you will see that WPA2 is obsolete. If you ever decide that you want to have good security you will have to replace your WPA2 extender(s). THIS extender has WPA3 and lots of configuration options. It works well and was easy to set up. If you have a TV that is wi-fi connected but only supports WPA2 you can use this extender to bring a RJ-45 ethernet port to it and connect it that way. Keep your old TV and have security.

Did not work for me
I’m sorry to say I had to return this. It would not work with my Xfinity router at all.

Nice quick, easy, and simple set up.
Reyee WiFi Extender Booster Signal Repeater makes the setup nice and simple. In the past, I have owned different router brands and attempted to set up WiFi signal boosters or extenders. The process always ended up being some fiasco that equates to your worst internet doo-hickey nightmares imaginable. Reyee Routers are already set up to connect to their name-brand WiFi booster by a plug-and-play button on the top of their routers called the mesh button, which is easier than pie. Ever since I purchased my new Reyee router and Reyee WiFi signal booster, there has not been a single complaint about internet connectivity throughout the entire house at all three levels.

Not sure if working or not
All is ok, app says is ok, have the bars that the signal is strong but the Reyee app shows devices are still connected to the router and not the extender. Not accurate
