I had a GFCI that died. This was a nice drop-in replacement. I like that you can just put the solid wire straight into the slot and tighten, no wrapping needed. Good directions for installation.

This is for a garage which does not trip every time it rains! Amazing

Watch a YouTube video and turn a screwdriver - you can do this! My 40 YO house exterior sockets were not weather proof or GFIs. Before adding a new exterior sprinkler controller I installed two of these sockets. Just connect 3 wires - OH! and first TURN OFF the power first and confirm with a GFI tester before proceeding. EZ for any handyman or woman. Good value, fit, quality, test light. I added an exterior weather proof socket cover of polycarbonate.

Can only be installed at the end of circuit. Only input for source no output.

I didn’t like this outlet because the terminal screws were a pain to wrap the j hook around. I couldn’t get a good connection. I thought it was me or a faulty wire. I had another outlet on hand with the WAGO levers and it worked perfectly so I assume the outlet I received was defective. For the bad terminal screw design and defective outlet, I gotta hammer this one down on the score. Even if it was a working outlet, what a headache to get the wires on/off. There are better options out there. Just saying.

This GFCI worked well and is comparative in price and build to other GFCI outlets form other manufacturers. The plug also has clamp type wire retainers so you don’t have to wrap the wire around the screws. The only issue I had was that the holes in the back are not large enough to accept 10 AWG wire. This is not an issue for most installations unless you have a long run and want to use a larger gauge wire to prevent voltage drop.
