This heater works perfectly for me. I actually purchased 2 different heaters with different features, but I like this one the best. This heater is pretty basic with just 2 controls. One is the on/off plus fan, low and high settings and the other is the oscillating on/off. I thought I was going to like the other heater I bought better because it has a thermostat, but that is not the case. Both heaters have the same ratings, 750/1500 watts but this heater feels like it produces more heat. This heater has a very small footprint so it's easy to store and when in use it takes little room. I also found that in actual use, having a thermostat isn't important. A small space heater is not something you leave on when you are out of the room or house for more than a short time and I'm not comfortable leaving a space heater on all night while I'm sleeping so the thermostat is not important. The low and high settings are enough to keep the room comfortable. The tilt safety switch is more sensitive on this heater and even a slight tip turns it off until it is resting flat on the floor again. This is a good feature. I would definitely purchase this heater again.

Our bedroom has gotten quite chilly thanks to some aging windows, so I bought this tiny space heater as an alternative to the radiator heater we've been using (which makes random noises throughout the night as it heats and cools). Given that it's rated to heat a room that's about 100sq. ft., I figured it would do a decent job of heating our ~270sq. ft. bedroom. Boy was I wrong... because it did an *amazing* job!Unfortunately, that also turned out to be a flaw when combined with the very simplistic control knobs. Even when set to 750W, the heater still took our bedroom temperature to upwards of 75F, and likely closer to 80F (from about 63-65F), making it way too hot to sleep. That means each night I'd have to get out of bed, turn off the heater, and then potentially turn the heater back on once the temp drops too much. There's no way I'm doing that, so I'll be returning the unit since I don't need it anywhere else.If this heater had an additional wattage option in the ~350W range (as I believe it mistakenly mentioned it did in some of the product details) it'd likely be just right for our needs, but alas.That said, the heater was also relatively quiet and blended in well with our white noise machine. I also liked the fact that it had no lights and didn't require me to cover them up like I've had to do for other heaters/devices. So, it still deserves 5 stars in my book despite the temp control flaw.

As a technical authority on heaters wrote: 1500 watts is 1500 watts, no matter what you pay. The rest is style and features. Among electric heaters with blowers, I find find the ceramic elements like this are better than coils. This little heater is the sleekest of the ones I have tried, with easy controls, carry-handle and automatic shut-off when tipped or picked up. The only thing I regret is that it doesn't have temperature control, so you have to control when it's on and off. It heats up a good-sized room in minutes. I've got this one in the open kitchen, one of the coldest rooms since it doesn't have carpeting and upholstered furniture, and it does a great job of cutting the overnight chill so I can get the morning feeding routines (lots of animals) done before I'm even fully awake. Since I'm in and out of the kitchen all day, it's fine that I have to turn it on and off rather than having a temperature control. Price at around $20 depending on sales makes it a great extra heater.

Works great for the size

Have this at my desk at work and it heats up beautifully! I even have to turn it off! It is straight heat on low or high. That’s it. I believe it has a fan that just blow air. Haven’t tried that because my office is always so cold.

This has really great heat and is perfect for my small office at work but it stopped hearing after 1 year.
