The Essential Collection

A nice compilation from the first two albums as well as some "B" sides. Nothing really rare but the album flows along really well going from songs from one album to the other and throwing in a "B" side here and there. I liked it a lot for the real good sound quality and the lack of any real ordinary song. This one is nice for those who really just care for the first releases & unlike many "Best Of" albums does not contain later songs that don't stand the test of time as the early numbers have when the band was young and hungry. So, if you like the early tracks, by all means get this one. If your looking for more of their catalog, check out all the other best of collections from them. All a matter of your preference.Drop by my website sometime @ "JudeMac Forever" and look around. Something there for about everyone.

Great quality Duran Duran hits. I would have loved for the 12" version of Planet Earth to be on this but you can't have everything. Takes me back to my youth with some great quality songs.

Great compilation . Only disappointment was Friends of Mine and Last chance on Stairway not on it. That apart it’s great.

Really good collection of songs especially Like an angel and Sound of thunder. Great album cover and a really good album altogether. I have enjoyed listening to this on my way to work with my sixteen year old son who actually bought the cd because hes an eighties fan. I never really liked Duran Duran but have got used to it now.
