Signatur Lille Minimalist Watch for Women

I've loved my Skagen watches (4-5 so far), and this one is no exception. I bought the gold one this time (not the rose-gold) and love the color - it's not brassy-looking, just a nice gold that matches my wedding ring. It keeps great time; I've had it for about a year now. It doesn't have a second hand, which I knew - I wish the gold had come with one. The gold hands on the white background are visible without eyestrain (in ordinary light - not in the dark), and of course these watches are handsomely large (but still feminine enough) on a woman's wrist, which also helps with easily reading the analog time. I find the size adjustment easy to make (it helps to use a knife tip to pry up the little flap on the slider). It's quite comfortable on my wrist, not getting "stuck" on my skin but sliding as needed for comfort with a little nudge. The knob for time adjustment might be a bit difficult to pull out for someone with wider fingers than mine, but one can use a knife blade to pull it out (I keep my fingernails quite short, which isn't an advantage here). It stays on time; the only reason I have to adjust the time is b/c our U.S. state has Daylight Savings Time, so we have to change all our timepieces twice yearly. Each watch has lasted 4-5 years, fine for the price, and I've sometimes ordered a new one to get some feature or look although the old one is still running. I carefully wash the metal band with a gentle soap infrequently; the gold has become a little less shiny with age, which is fine with me. Many compliments on it.

Skagen is such an underrated brand. They have great styling and quality at an amazing price. I have genuine Rolex, Raymond Weil, and Rado watches and still regularly reach for my Skagen watches.

Beautiful watch, just what my wife wanted. Nice watch and band. Slim and light weight and comfortable. Pretty dial with no complications thats easy to read. Simple Scandinavian design, and mesh band. Very impressive and in out budget.

I love the Skagen brand. I already had one piece before it was stolen, bought this for my wife. The watch itself is a beauty. Works without skipping a beat. My only gripe is the band which falls a part in a short period of time.

i like the quality and the high classy look of the skagen watch. i recieved it as a gift from my children and believe it or not it lasted for over 10 years[ of course i had to change batteries now and then] and it was constantly on my wrist.it never failed. the timing was always accurate. since i have a small wrist,.i appreciated the adjustable band. all in all it is a watch worth buying

loved the simplicity of the design; rose gold is my favorite; found not easy to manage the clasp; fortunately my daughter has one just like it and taught me how to use it.

I've only had this watch for about a week and so far it's working good. It looks very cute and interestingly elegant (for me at least) it is a little big on my small wrist but I wanted a big dial watch so I love it. The color as many other reviewers have mentioned is more of a dark grey/taupe-ish but it goes well with the rose gold which is also not overly shiny. I read some reviewers said the band falls apart pretty soon from wearing so I'll update on that as time goes by. I don't wear it constantly to notice that now. It's super light weight for its size.

Sorry to give this charming watch anything but five stars, but the clasp is terrible. Before I wore it the first time I practiced closing it, hearing a click, checking for firmness, but 3 times it fell off of my wrist. Twice it landed in my lap. It is still wintery in the Northeast, which means arms go in and out of sweaters and coats. Last night as I took off my coat I saw my watch had vanished. To my huge relief it had slipped into my sleeve and I did not lose it. I am fond of Skagen watches and kept an old one that had died. Today I took the leather band off the old one, removed the stainless steel band with iffy clasp from the new one, and exchanged bands. It's not the sophisticated, stainless band I wanted and paid for, but it's a reliable watch that will stay on my wrist..
