Generator Shed For Storing & Running Generator Outdoor - Combining Generator Covers While Running & Generator Covers for Outside Storage into one (GCL)

Comes packed tightly for assembly in a surprisingly small cardboard box. I finally got around to assembling this to protect the generator over the darker months. I was quite surprised by the construction. Absolutely no need for any tools! Just hands and fingers that is all you need. Take care identifying parts B and parts C. I think it is part B that has velco covered rails and just plain rails. Both are the same length and it might have been clearer to have marked them as different part numbers. I have not seen the corner pieces used in construction before. These are of a very neat design, holding 3 pieces of metal with an interlocking piece that uses a hand screw. Once assembled you need to remember to attach the roof piece that go onto the generator with the velcro strips supplied. The sides and roof are made of quite heavy grade material and this gives me confidence that the mini-shed should last for seasons to come. As a thought it would be great if the side panels or roof can be obtained separately as severe winter may take their toll on this material. A good solution that allows the generator to be used in place by adjusting the sides / roof with the added advantage of protection from the elements.

I only just got the GENSHED put together but there is a planned power outage for upgrades in the morning throughout the day so I do look forward to using it for the first time. It was easy to install, quick with no tools. The beams connect to your generator with heavy duty velcro strips that hold the unit in place but confuse me a bit. The strips are long like the cross beams or like the support brackets on the generator but where the two connect is a smaller point not a line. The strength seems sturdy to me I just wonder if maybe there was a more practical and stable option.

Works very well but for what it is should cost less. It’s the best option and the price reflects it but overall very durable and fairly easy to set up.

Purchased this for use on a Predator 11,500 generator. This product is very well thought out and engineered. The quality is excellent, and it's well built. The product arrived packaged well, and the assembly was easy and straightforward. Prior to purchase, the customer service was quick to respond to some of my questions. Solid cover protection from the elements. Easy to put together and use. Stable and works for my needs.

Putting this together is cumbersome at best. When installing the rods along the top, as you put one in another will pop out. Very frustrating. My daughter had an idea that might work by putting hot glue in the holes to hold them. All the covering is held together with velcro. From experience I've found the velcro looses it effectiveness if it get dirty. Part of this velcro was pulling away from the frame already. As I was putting this together I felt like sending it back, but I had put too much effort in to stop, and rain was threatening. There is nothing holding this down so I'm fearful of high winds.

This is a nice cover well thought out with nice parts goes together very easy. I have not had it long but just needed to write a review based on quality of materials.

The cover was a perfect fit on a Firman 7500 Watt Dual Fuel Generator. Good and not excessive clearance all around on the inside. About 2.5 inches clearance from the ground to give good protection from the rain, but allow you to move it easily. Tools and the bolts are a problem. The provided wrench strips the nut since the wrench fit with the nut did not seem tight enough. A better wrench is needed. You can get good tightening of you use your own socket (7mm). The bolt could also be a better quality. The provided Allen wrench seemed to strip the bolts when tightening. If the bolts are snug, the nut side only can be tightened. It would also be helpful if the parts were labeled with stickers (A, B, C, etc.). After assembly it is a good quality.

This unit has screws punched through the top of the box for the handle and the pivoting legs. These screws have no rubber washers in them, so water easily leaks through the 20 holes. Furthermore, 4 of the holes had no screws on them. Just the velcro stuck over the top. This allowed more water to just freely flow in. I am shocked at how much of a piece of garbage this is for the extortionist price they charge. Avoid at all cost. Poor construction with amateurish design.
