100% Merino Wool Extra Large Pashmina Shawl for Women

Its the perfect size. Its very warm and beautiful. Very soft. My only complaint is the color difference. I do understand differences in lighting but the color difference is major. I was searching for a light blue scarf and so i found this one and bought it because of the picture. However it is not light blue at all but i am keeping it because its such a lovely scarf i cant stand to send it back and wait for a different pattern. It has no chemical smell which is a huge plus.

It has taken me a long time to write this review. While the print I ordered no longer is offered, I thought my review might still be helpful. I just updated this review because after washing this shawl in the machine in a delicates bag and hanging it to dry, I'm even happier with it. Mine washed beautifully. My scarf is absolutely stunning on one side--printed in black and vivid blue on a cream background. The back is unprinted and not very pretty. The pattern from the front partially bleeds onto the second side. For this reason, I fold it over so the back side does not show. The scarf is enormous, so this is not a problem. The texture of the scarf is nice. I find it a little less soft than cotton, cashmere and synthetics, but adequately soft to be comfortable, even around the face and neck. My favorite use for this scarf is as a blanket, scarf, and layering piece when I travel. I like to travel with the bare minimum. If I'm traveling to a place that might be chilly, I toss it right in my carry on. I can use it as a layer as soon as I hit the ground. In addition to serving as a nice big fluffy scarf, it can be worn belted with a long-sleeved tee and jeans, a dress or skirt to create a new outfit when I'm on the road. The large size makes is very versatile, and the thinness of the fabric allows it to provide coziness that's never stifling.

Im in absolute love with this scarf/ blanket. Got for a trip out to Arizona in August wanting something thin but warm for the cool nights. Its thin and warm but also cool when its hot. The print design is so beautiful! Well made high quality! I've had it for a few months now and everyday im even more in love with it. Super soft! Many compliments in it and it completes any outfit!

This is the most beautifully packaged item I have ever purchased from Amazon. The scarf is in a plastic package that holds a sheer satin pouch with the scarf carefully wrapped in tissue paper that has a seal on it. This is quality without a doubt. It’s big and beautiful just as it appears on the images. I love this scarf!

Update: the company reached out to me and refunded me for the flawed thread pashmina. I’ve never had a company reach out based on a review and am updating the review from 3 stars to 4 because though the scarf was flawed the company stood behind their product and made it right. Ps. I received the second pashmina I’d ordered in a different color/pattern and it’s in perfect condition. It did have the perfume scent, like the flawed one, that dissipated within a couple of days. I realized it’s perhaps scented packing paper, something perhaps designed to give a high end effect, that I’m just hyper aware of because I’m sensitive to scents. The second one I bought is 5 stars+, lovely, no flaws. So I wouldn’t let my first flawed one effect your decision to buy. I intend to buy another shawl or scarf from this company to replace the flawed one. Original review: would have given this Pashmina 10 stars for beauty and softness if it weren’t for the fact it has pulled threads and smells of perfume. I can’t understand why because the packaging appeared new and the paper surrounding the scarf was new, the closing sticker on the paper not peeled, paper not torn, the whole thing was then in a fabric bag and then a zipper sealed plastic bag so I don’t see how it would have picked up scent on it’s journey unless it picked the scent up in the factory. The one pulled thread that’s still a loop I could use very fine black thread to tack down from the back but the long one near the edge of the pashmina is broken which means that there’s a stub of thread somewhere in the weave that is broken and likely to develop a run/hole in the future. I absolutely detest returning things so I’m trying to convince myself to try letting it hang in fresh air for a day or two and if the smell disappears, and if it does, attempting to mend the pulled threads with a bit of iron on interfacing from the backside to glue them down so they don’t continue to snag. But, that’s a lot of work for a very expensive, supposed to be new, pashmina that might not even work. Unfortunately I ordered another one in a different pattern that has a long delivery time so now am left worrying it will smell or be damaged. I think I’ll just package this one back up for return and decide what to do with it when the other one arrives. Really disappointed, it’s the most beautiful pashmina I’ve ever seen. If it had been in new condition I’d have been super super happy with the purchase.

Beautiful work and colors

It’s not quite the quality I was expecting. The design is printed on the front but it isn’t in the back so the underside is very faded, making it look cheap

Very fragile and light weighted I think it manufacturing quality is not intended for durability
