Hair Removal Electric Epilator - L5 Rechargeable Epilator for Women & Men (White/Golden)

I bought an Epilady classic model about 30 years ago and never could figure out how to get the coil to pick up my hair. Well this style of epilator is easy to figure out! I can start by saying I bought this knowing I would not have smooth “just like shaving” results as it takes multiple treatments so time and patience is needed. This style of hair removal is best for those who want to remove visible hair but don’t mind their legs feeling like there’s a little stubble. I decided to start during the winter so my legs are ready by summer. My first use was a bit painful as the spinning disks pluck a lot of hairs, but each area gets numb after a minute. I was suprized at how much hair it removed. I am now up to my 4th treatment and this time it was not painful at all and my legs are visibly free of hair. I have allowed about a week between treatments but waited two weeks this time because the longer the hair, the easier it is to remove. I used this on my arms and as I never shave them all of my hair was 90% gone the first use. I’ve also used this on my face on my jawline and upper lip and it worked like a charm as well. I chose this epilator because Epilady has been around for decades and the L5 is the latest and greatest at the time of this review, having the most “tweezers” in one row. I wanted something rechargable so I didn’t have to mess with a cord while using it and didn’t care to use it wet either, my hair is light in color and it helps seeing my hairs being in a well lit area. I admit I am a bit concerned as a few reviewers (per my research) complained of the battery life being poor and not holding a charge over time, so I registered it with Epilady to ensure the one year warranty. If I get a year out of it I will be happy because the cost of this is equivalent to getting my legs waxed just once.

I have been epilating my legs and bikini area for more than 40 years. This is just my 3rd epilator during that time. Of course I had to epilate more often initially and it was a bit uncomfortable but it soon became much less uncomfortable and I had to epilate less. My first epilator died unexpectedly and so I had to purchase another. That second epilator lasted me more than 20 years and died suddenly the other day so I purchased this one. These days I don’t need to epilate hardly at all but periodically a stray hair or two show up and so I want to continue epilating. I used this epilator the day after I received it to remove a few hairs that had shown up over the winter months. I love it! This is the best epilator I have had with many more tweezers that do the job quickly. I promise ladies that you won’t be disappointed. This one may be more expensive but is totally worth every penny.

Not as good as the 4. Seems like the sides are thicker, so it doesn't get everything, and it is too fast, misses some, and breaks some instead of grabbing at the roots. Hair grows back more quickly
