So I’m not going to complain like everyone else. Yes the prongs were bent, it took a whole three seconds to unbend them. They work perfectly fine after unbending the prongs and putting the burner in the socket/plug in. After complaining to my husband about how awful our previous burners were, I took to Amazon like I do most of everything else. I found these burners and drip pans after searching for around 10 seconds and after confirming that they were compatible with our stove, I ordered. Now, working in a factory and knowing that most things have a coating on them during building (and also reading some of the reviews.) I knew that I needed to turn on my vent fan, and went an extra step of opening my kitchen door to help vent the area. After getting my new drip pans put in place, and plugging up the new burners, I cranked those suckers on high and burned whatever coating was from manufacturing off of the burners. They smoked for around 5-10 seconds and then the smoke stopped. Some people complain a little too much in my opinion.. These burners got hot within SECONDS. To say that I’m excited to cook on my new burners would be an understatement. They look so nice compared to my old ones and they fit perfectly! Granted, they’ll need to settle in from the prongs being bent. But overall, I have 0 complaints about this product. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use. I’m very excited to see how easy it is to clean these when they get burnt food on them from over boiling. My old ones are officially in the trash bin!

I really like the black look compared to the silver and can be cleaned easily with oven cleaner. Their very solid metal no cheap tin and the electric coils are the same too. I did find I had to insert the coil into the pan liner before attaching to the stove plugs and had to wiggle them a bit to get them to sit flush with the stove, but it did so I just have to remember it's going to be harder to lift just coil to clean the pan probably have to remove both as I installed them to clean but not really that big of a deal. I turned the burnners on to burn off a residue and it smoked briefly and then was fine. Just do yourself a favor and be sure to check if your stove to see if you have 3 small burners and 1 large or 2 small and 2 large before purchasing or you will have to go through that whole return thing.

The package box looked fine but packed badly. Nearly all prongs bent. I had to bend it back to align properly.

People talk about needing to fix these when they got them.... The pieces that plug in are slightly bent but you literally just adjust them, it doesn't take rocket appliances to figure it out and I did it with my hand and no tools, it wasn't even the slightest inconvenience. And it is actually a very good thing because it gives you leeway to adjust them as needed to fit into your sockets and to set the burners flat on your stove.

The shipping box came with the prongs poking through so when I opened the package the prongs were bent. I was able to straighten them out with pliers but the weren’t completely straight so it made the fit just slightly not flush with the drip pan and the stove’s surface yet it didn’t affect the connection. But overall they look good and heat up for a Good price.

I'm so happy with this purchase! My stove was given to me by my sister in law after they bought a new one. If they had just bought these new stove eyes, they wouldn't have needed to waste the money! The original ones were starting to smell (idk, my favorite front burner) but these are great! They do smoke a little when you first put them in but I expected that. Worth the money... honestly, best purchase of the year this far!
