My 8 yr old grandson loves science and doing experiments and this book is full of easy and quick examples, all using things that are available at home or are inexpensive to buy. We had a lot of success and one or two that failed but we’re going to try those ones again. I would recommend this book for anyone with 7 - 12 yr olds who like doing experiments.

I bought this for my nieces and they LOVED it! There are fun experiments where you can use things you will have a home you won't need to go and buy extra equipment. The experiments all have simple instructions with a small explanation of what is happening. I definitely recommend this book.

Fantastic book. My 4 year old loves experiments and science and this book is so great at breaking it all down for her into understandable chunks. Hours of fun for a very cheap price.

Got this for my nephew, he loves science and is really into experiments at the moment, he likes the book, there are a good variety of experiments but it would've been better to include a photo of every experiment and not just the odd few. Photos would've captured more interest and instantly shown what the experient was and how it should look when set up.

Nice book. Bought for 5 year old who loves experiments. I'll say that we've already done some of them as they are covered in numerous other books but he still enjoys redoing them and is perhaps better able to understand the science behind it?!?! The materials are easy to obtain if not already in possession.

This is the first time I received a book that was squeezed and bent to fit a smaller box. Cannot be a gift, can only keep for own use as book is slightly damaged and looked worn out. Disappointed. Yet to browse the content

Well explained, easy to follow. Every experiment is broken down into difficulty, duration, detailed steps + material and of course the explanation (how and why). Some of the projects are more age dependent than others. So maybe check ahead of time which one fits your needs and your child’s. Would highly recommend it.
