French Fry Cutter, Sopito Professional Potato Cutter Stainless Steel with 1/2-Inch and 1/4-Inch Blade Great for Potatoes Carrots Cucumbers

I've had this French fry cutter for about a year and a half now, and it still works like new. It's made cooking French fries much more efficient, and it's really easy to use. What I especially like is that it doesn't require much effort or muscle. The pulley-style design makes cutting the potatoes pretty easy. It also comes with different cutting sizes, so you can make different types of fries, and it comes with brushes that make cleaning it simple. It's also easy to store. You can tuck it away or even hang it on the wall if you want. I definitely recommend this for anyone who likes making fries at home. **Easy to use, easy to clean, and built to last.

I received the cutter in good condition. It works well it does need effort to cut the potatoes, but it does make cutting large amount of fries very well. I bought the extensions for different sizes. They work well. It’s is very sharp and need to be cautious about cleaning, but I do use this at least once a month.

Since our kids like thin French fries, we’ve only so far used the 1/4 inch blades. With so many blades, it was more difficult than we expected to cut the potato. It actually took some effort, but it was overall effective and worth using. Cutting one potato to thin fries used to take 4-5 minutes, but with a good amount of effort using this cutter, it took about 5-8 seconds (2nd effort required). So it’s a good time saver, but definitely cutting thin 1/4 inch fries is more difficult (than 1/2 inch, I imagine).

Game changer we love this product. Extremely sharp very easy to clean the price wasn't bad since it's a durable sturdy item. Easy to use and very durable.

It is hard for me to exaggerate how extraordinarily flawed every part of the design of this is. It worked okay-ish for me exactly one time, which was the first time I used it - I have used it twice since and each was worse than the previous. The most critical flaw is the horizontal design, which means it slips and slides while trying to get any sort of leverage. But that's what the suction cup is for, right? Wrong, the suction cup is less than useless on anything but the smoothest, flattest surface known to mankind. If your countertop is not perfect for it, it almost feels like it makes the slip and slide experience WORSE. It might be more tolerable if most pieces of this weren't made of flimsy, lightweight metal sheets, but because there is precisely zero weight on this thing to hold it down, it just slides the moment you try to pull the lever. You can *kind of* remediate this by only putting things in that are about a third of the length of it so that the lever starts at an acceptable angle for leverage, but that's an awful trade-off. Do yourself a favor and find a vertically oriented cutter, or find a way to ratchet strap this down to an extremely heavy surface so that it doesn't move around. Even then, the lever is too short for the full length to provide good leverage and cutting power, so it'll be a painful experience trying to cut anything harder than mozzarella cheese.

I really wanted this to be my favorite kitchen tool. The idea of perfect uniform fries in seconds is great and the stainless steel feels solid. Reality though? It’s kind of a pain to use. You have to really lean into it and the potatoes need to be the right size/firmness or it gets finicky. Cleanup is the real killer — potato starch sticks everywhere and those blades are a hassle to get fully clean without taking half the thing apart. Still better than hand-cutting a mountain of fries, but not the effortless win I was hoping for. 3 stars.

This is easy to use. Makes great fries. Cuts vegetables also. Makes for fast work I would buy again but it’s of great quality I don’t think I would have to. Remember to not submerge in water wipe clean and it should last a very long time

Works great, replaces a vintage cutter that finally fell apart. Be cautious though, it's sharp!
