No complaints. Best lip balm

Great on the go
Does not make you overuse…most pocket ones like this make lips dry unless used over and over. Not this one. My daughter told me about it as a music teacher and she was right, the best out there

Works well as chapstick but I like my old stuff better haha
Scent: smells like lemon-lime gatorade? which I actually really like hahaTexture: Has a rough grainy texture almost to the stick but rubs onto lips very smoothly. I almost feel like my lips are getting exfoliated a bit which I like but some people might not. It does go on thickly and may feel slightly greasy to some though.Effects: I didn't notice any resulting dryness like with some other chapsticks, my lips felt very moisturized, which was lovely. I think the main purpose of this chapstick is probably that. I guess I was expecting some sort of relief-type feeling though, which this doesn't really have. Let me explain though. I play horn and usually use Burt's peppermint and vitamin E, along with some Vermont's Bag Balm to moisturize, or just the Burt's on its own. The peppermint gives a lovely cooling sensation that helps my face feel more rejuvenated after playing. This doesn't have that, but some people also don't like tingly chapsticks, so this is more of a neutral product in that way, probably purposefully. Not enough of an issue to take a star off but probably wouldn't buy again... especially considering price. If you don't already have a chapstick that actually works though this does a good job of not drying out your lips as an aftereffect. Also recommend Burt's, but it does have more of a dry feel to it which is why I supplement with the Bag Balm.

Nice, but not for everyone
Good lip balm that's an alternative to some of the stuff out there that can really swell up or dry out a brass player's lips. It has a pleasant and light citrus smell and doesn't leave a bunch of grease on your chops. I used to use Chop-Saver all the time, but lately it has been irritating to my lips. I have also had a student who could not use it because it irritated his lips. Perhaps we are both sensitive to an ingredient in the mix. I know many people, musicians and otherwise, who use this stuff without problems though. It's worth a try if you are unsatisfied with your current chapstick.

Necessary for all trumpet players
My teacher recommended my section to use chop saver because she saw that are lips were really red and kinda dead due to the mix of high winds and playing our instruments so, I bought it and arrived in about a week. Used it for the first time and it was incredible, although they say to put it on after playing I did it before and my lips didn’t dry out and it didn’t make my lips slip around my mouth piece like regular chap stick. Over all a amazing purchase and recommend it to all my fellow trumpet players.

Buyer beware- has citrus and does not show on the picture.
I love this lip balm but specifically did not want the citrus one, so I searched until I found this one. Guess what, they arrived and it has 'fresh citrus'!!! So not as pictured. You have to scroll way down to read the ingredients. Why would my chapped lips want citrus, might as well rub a lemon on my lips, right? I ended up opening one, and if you have chapped lips DO NOT buy this one, not good for chapped lips. Will return the 2nd one I got.

Sooooothing
I like that they have a little candy with it and a hand written note, even though they said it was photocopied 🤣. Someone said it smelled like the yellow Gatorade and I didn’t believe it until I got it. It really does. Really helped soothe my lips. They felt buttery soft.
