SV725 Carburetor Fit for Kohler SV715 SV720 SV730 SV735 Carb

Fit well, and started right up. Everything i needed to complete the change. I would buy again.

Overall, this kit worked well and included everything I needed. The air filter fit my Cub Cadet perfectly, and the fuel pump, filter, hoses, and other components all seemed to be good quality. I didn’t use the included spark plugs, so I can’t comment on those. The one issue I ran into was that the main jet in the carburetor was too small for my application, which caused the engine to run lean causing it to surge. I had to completely disassemble the new carburetor and swap the main jet from my original OEM carburetor. After doing that, the engine ran great. The photo is a picture of the OEM main jet. If you’re comfortable taking a carburetor apart, this isn’t a huge deal. However, if you’re buying this because you want a simple bolt-on replacement with no additional work, be aware that you may run into the same issue. Overall, it’s still a good value and the quality was better than I expected, but it may not be the best choice for someone who isn’t comfortable working on carburetors.

Pretty much a bargain price for the carb and all the other bits that come with it. The carb fit perfectly on my Kohler SV735 26 HP mower motor. Fired right up like nothing was changed. Now I'm set on tune up parts for next spring.

This Carburetor would not work on my 25HP Husqvarna lawn mower. It started just fine But would surge and not keep the speed even. I did use parts out of the carburetor to get my old carburetor running ( used float & needle valve). I compared the jets of the original carburetor to the new one and they were miles apart. Whoever tries to duplicate these Keihn carburetors should take a look @ the size of the jets. This is not rocket science we have been making carburetors for a 100 years. It's like drinking from a straw the larger straw gives more liquid and the jets are like straws

I usually buy HIPA but they didn't have this one. I was impressed it worked just as good as a HIPA would have. And it was a nice kit with their name on The box. I would recommend buying here if you couldn't get it from HIPA

Everything fit my Craftsman GT500. Ground strap was too short, so I used the old one. Fired up, and ran like new. Gaskets are plastic. Gasket between carb and manifold didn't have alignment hole, so I used the old one. Could have drilled the hole, but the old gasket wasn't bad. All linkage on carb matched the original.

Great seller and the carb kit... it fit and worked perfectly.. a nice air filter and fuel filter too that I installed too.. It also came with an oil filter and sparkplugs that I haven't used yet.. the only thing I never used was the fuel hose which seemed soft and poor quality but my tractor's hoses were still good.. I did turn in the fuel mixture screw on the old carb and count the turns and then set the new carb to same turns and when it started it ran perfectly... would definitely buy again

I needed to replace the carb on my toro timecutter zero turn mower and got this kit for the added value of other parts. The air filter is too large, you really need to shove it on there to get it in. This quality control issue suggests to me that the issues I'm having with my fuel intake are from the poor quality of these parts. I replaced the carb and fuel pump, so I'm not sure which is the culprit. The oil filter fits fine though, I put it on after an oil change. The gaskets are also appropriately sized
