VTech ABC Text and Go Motion - Pink

This is great for young children that want to use your electronics. I do not have kids yet, but I have 10 nieces and nephews. I bought some of these for my small nieces that want to use my phone, tablet, etc. I love my nieces and nephews, but I don't really like them using my personal devices. First, all I have is a mobile phone. I do not have landline. It is important to me that my phone has some sort of charge. Second, a mobile phone is a breeding ground for germs. I don't want to give them mine and vice versa. Have you ever gotten a cold from a baby or toddler? I have and it was the worst I ever got. Anyway, if are anything like me; get this for you kid, niece, nephew, or friend's kid. The parent will thank you. With items like this the kiddos will ask for devices less... at least that is the feedback I have gotten. Plus, when you are visiting it gives the kids something constructive to do that actually entertains them. I recommend this product.

The toy is actually quite large and has a couple of unimpressive screen applications. Though the price is low, there is very little function for it. My five year old has been wanting a "cell phone" and I thought this would be a fun pretend toy that might lead to learning the alphabet or maybe even some sight words. I was wrong. She had zero interest in playing with it.

I bought this for my daughter she is 2 1/2 she loves carrying it around calling it her little tablet! She likes to look at the screen and see all the animals and characters displayed! I feel that it is a good product for the money just wish it was in color as it looks very computerized! She looses interest after a while...I think its because she plays preschool games on my phone and can definitely see the difference from mommys phone and her little tablet. But while she is playing with it, it definitely has her attention.

My three year old likes his "ipad" okay. Mostly he wants it when his older sister wants it. It isn't engaging enough when he pushes buttons, and he finds it frustrating that the games make him tilt the device. Maybe it will be better as he gets older? This will probably get donated on our next big cleaning spree.

I guess we've been spoiled by all of our electronic toys that have a colorfully lit screen, that when my 4yo granddaughter tried to play with it while traveling at night in the car and screamed, "I can't see it!", I thought it was broken! So I gave it 3 stars because I got this so that she could "text" when we travel (which is a lot) and now this is one less toy to keep her preoccupied. The price dropped to $8.99 from $14.99 right before Christmas so I got it as one more last minute gift since the price was irresistible. The pictures aren't that visibly stimulating and the screen is smaller than I expected but for less than $10, it'll do especially since I will be able to pass it down to my youngest granddaughter.

So I ordered this product on January 23rd for my niece's 2nd birthday on February 4th. It said it was gonna come on the 28th of January, so I was happy. As long as it came before her birthday I was good. To my surprise, it was literally at my door the VERY next day (Jan 24th). I couldn't believe it.I was excited and I started to play with it...almost didn't want to give it up. I really wish all my packages were this fast. And the price was a steal. Only $15.00 and free shipping!!!! It couldn't getting any better. I wanted her to have something educational and fun for a good price....when I seen that this VTech was ONLY $15.00, how could I pass on it..exactly what I wanted and super fast delivery.... She is gonna love it!!!!

She really loves the game. It was bigger than I expected, but that is ok. She is having a jolly time with it. She is 2 so her interaction with it is mainly just pressing buttons. But she is grasping the concepts of the games each time she plays with it, so I'm happy with her progress.
