I love the sleek, small, and low profile of this little bell! It is loud and helps to make drivers aware of my presence. I use it most when I see cars idling, and I can see when a driver checks their mirror to acknowledge me. It was easy to install and has remained secure on my bike. (A friend gave me a cheaper version of this bell before and the screw fell out before I got home.) I highly recommend this great little bell.

Small with a strong sound

I try many bike bell and this one is the best of all. The so Nd is extremely loud and rings for about 2-3 seconds. People do hear it even when people have headphones, I seen it so writing from experience. FYI, the bronze and silver are the loudest one. The black probably do to the black coat of paint it reduce brightness and loudness just a bit. Still very loud but I have both and you do hear the a little difference.

Too distracting, requires too much effort pulling the thumb lever down and more often than not doesn’t come in contact with the bell to ring it

Happy about this bell, especially for the price point. It’s compact and has a nice crisp ring to it. It’s like one of those things that’s there when you need it, but it doesn’t stand out by appearance I like it. There so many people in a city park environment with dogs etc. Some are checked out with headphones so not everyone hears the bell. But it helps for at least 1/2 the people with a sounding consideration.

it says it works on handlebar diameters of up to 23mm. but when i attached it, as it expands to fit the handlebar, the hammer touches the bell thus makes a click not a ding. I returned it.

Good quality bike bell. Ordered 2 for good price and not cheap quality like similar costing products I’ve had in past. Looks great on my Trek Marlin and sound tone is nice and plenty loud to alert others that I’m rolling through. Easy installation with supplied tool amd secure enough that someone can’t just snatch it off my bike.
