Fantastic dolsot for a good price
Fantastic dolsot for a good price. Used twice now. Washed well in the dishwasher. Stands up against direct heat. I was really nervous putting it on the flame the first time but it's fantastic. Makes the best bibimbap!

Beautiful and practical
I bought these for a dinner party at home. They are very practical, I could put them onto the stove (yet to try putting it in the oven) and could keep food warm and even cook like that. They lovely lovely. My friends were all commenting how lovely they are look.

An authentic ttukbaegi
I started using ttukbaegi to cook when I lived in Korea and I love them. This one is similar in quality to the ones you'd buy in Daiso (like Japanese and Korean Poundland), which makes the price a little steep in comparison. This doesnt mean the quality is bad though. I use mine several times a week and I think it'll last for years to come with proper care. It's worth noting that the tray that comes with it is not earthenware but plastic.

Durable, low maintenance, great value
I've had the large size ttukbaegi (without lid) for a few months now, using it almost daily on a gas stove and running it through the dishwasher after every use, and it is holding up perfectly. Carelessly using ceramic soup spoons and steel utensils, there isn't the slightest indication of wear in the surface finish - it still looks brand new. The wide format makes it suitable for all kinds of cooking tasks, from boiling instant ramyun to simmering and serving a stew, cooking rice or even browning meat. It is really thick and quite heavy, and retains heat for a long time. The trivet is really nice, perfectly fits the base of the vessel and holds it securely. I also own a really fancy ttukbaegi straight from Korea that costs 4 times the price, but I like this thing so much, I bought a second one. This is a great bargain for the quality you're getting.

Price changed quickly, the quality is not worth the money.
The price went down just after my order. I bought two, paid$139.99, now only $98, $40 gone before I received it! If the pot was so cheap, I will choose another cheaper one shipped from China. I choose the expensive one just thought it would be more good quality than other cheaper one. But now I see, they are the same. It not worth to pay so much money. And the pot was sticky on the first use yesterday although I had put lot of oil before using it. It’s hard to clean. I contact the seller, they said the price will always change, it’s normal. But why sold so expensive at beginning? The base is also plastic, the same with other cheaper one. My first time give a one star during the 4 years on Amazon!

Holding Up Well Doesn't Flake
As above. If you are looking for a Dolsot that is relatively easy to maintain and versatile. Look no further. The size however for the medium is too small. It's for one small portion of rice. Size needs to be increased.

Dolsot de muy buena calidad
Dolsot de perfecta calidad. Elegí el tamaño de 1100ml y es perfecto para un gran Bibimbap individual o sopa para compartir.

A favorite bowl to cook smaller dishes in or for heating up leftovers
This has become a favorite bowl to heat leftovers in OR to cook a small side dish for 2-3 people. I take a small metal lid and cover it while cooking. I start out using lowest heat with a splash of water on the bottom, put my food in, and then turn it up after a few minutes as/if necessary. Clean up is easy. Food heated/cooked in this tastes better somehow than metal cookware. Maybe it's "in my head", but I noticed that the ceramic heats up more evenly perhaps which is why. NOT MENTIONED: It safely fits 4 cups worth of liquids. The total capacity is 5 cups. This should give an idea as to how much you can cook in it. Also, I wouldn't put it over high heat. I'm not sure how much heat these things can take. You may want to be careful not to heat it or cool it too quickly. Start it on low heat for a few min, then increase. Let it cool down on its own. Don't immediately cool it off.
