Urban Leather Shoulder Saddle Bags for Women Cross Body Purse Handbags for Girls

I like the clean lines and that there are no outside zippers to constantly open and close as I dig around trying to find something. The front flap lifts up to reveal all of the interior. The inside of the flap is covered in the same leather. The strap is about an inch wide so it does not cut into the shoulder. The adjustable strap is leather but lined with a sturdy, slightly ribbed fabric that prevents the strap from sliding. I prefer to wear it across my body and the top of the purse is very comfortable at waist level. (And could be lengthened another 10 inches.) The strap hardware is heavy duty and the straps are riveted to the hardware. The hardware that attaches the strap to the purse is riveted to a separate leather piece that is firmly sewn to side of the purse. I feel confident that should I want to carry something heavy, the straps would not tear away from the bag. The interior has 3 sections. The top of the dividers are protected with the same leather. The front section has a zippered pocket that extends the full length of the bag and on the divider are 2 pockets - 4 inch and 2 inch. The back section also has a full zippered pocket. The middle section is wider and has two 4 inch pockets. I want to obtain a leather moisturizer so that I can use this for years to come. Happy, Happy, Happy!!

I have been disappointed with similar rustic handmade leather bags but this one is a winner. The leather is sticker, a beautiful color, and accepts a liquid or oil-based conditioner, which I would use immediately to soften the sides and the bottom as well as underside of the flap. I would not use a paste consistency. I suspect that this, like the others I've tried, is goat leather, and I'm happy to pay more simply because it's just such a higher-quality. The size is true to what was described and the adjustable strap has a textured fabric underneath the leather so it doesn't slide off if you prefer a shoulder bag. It also matches perfectly with a briefcase that I have as well as a large leather art tote and that's a nice surprise. I wish that there were not a divider between the interior two sections; I know that it enhances organization but to me it's sometimes just takes up room. But right now I have a wallet, checkbook, cell phone, my usual dozen pens, three lipsticks, business cards, 3 by 5 by .5/ notebook, and some medications, spare keys, and mementos in the zippered section, which is almost hidden. Actually, I just noticed there is a second zippered section! I love that the leather tabs that attach the handle to the bag are well stitched and riveted with what looks to be heavy-duty Hardware. I have not found the bag to be too heavy and it didn't have any kind of odor at all. It reminds me of the wonderful old Latigo leather hippie purses that we carried to school in the 70s and if this lasted me 50 years I wouldn't be surprised. So if you see a hundred 109 year old woman carrying a gorgeous leather purse, that would be me! I do want to re-emphasize not using paste consistency leather cleaner, but oil and liquid leather conditioners or even just linseed oil. It did not change the color of my purse, which is fine, and I plan to do it every couple of weeks for the next 6 months until it softens exactly as I wanted to. But I bought it to treat myself and I'm very happy that I did.

Nice bag, arrived with the back crushed, delivered in a paper bag, not a good packaging choice on Amazon's part. Haven't used it yet, but seems well made. Stitching is even & strong looking. Assuming the damage to the back of the bag is a shipping issue and not manufacturing. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great daily crossbody bag for someone who only carries minimal stuff. Beautiful, comfortable and proportional to short people. Main compartment comfortably holds a medium wallet, large phone, sanitizers and keys. A whole lot more, you'll find it difficult to shuffle through. Inside back pockets are great for flat items while the inside front pockets can hold small bulkier items. With that said, I've only had the purse for a few months so it's still going through the break-in period. Initially stiff but with more use, it's softening and widening without major creases, any cracking or discoloration. Bag will have slight creases upon arrival as it's not soft pre-worn leather. Initially wasn't too happy with it because of the stiffness but I'm glad I kept it as it's settling beautifully and comfortably.

This was a beautifully made purse but I had to send it back. I couldn’t abide by the smell!!! Goat leather stinks! I couldn’t get the bag out of my home fast enough!

The bag arrived with a weird flaw, like a small gouge on the top. The description says it's leather. Maybe technically there is leather involved in the construction of this bag, but it seems like paper thin leather stretched over some cardboard. The strap is nice and long, perfect for crossbody wear, but it's mostly fabric, not all leather as I expected. I overlooked the flaws because I like the look, tried to smooth it over with leather conditioner (that didn't work). Despite the poor quality it was a good size and cute style, practical shape if a little too narrow. Was working out ok till the metal snap fell apart. And now it's junk.

Very nice bag, well made and stylish. I've conditioned the leather and look forward to it turning a darker shade of brown with use. The pockets inside are thoughtful, a combination of bigger pockets, small pen or credit card pockets and zippered pockets. The bottom (between the front and back) is a softer leather, which means it folds neatly when the purse doesn't have too much stuff in it or expands when needed. It fits my ipad well (which is why I bought it). I was doubtful about the fabric sewn into the shoulder strap, but I find I like it. It grips well so the bag stays where I put it. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and anticipate many years of use.

The photos here are after one year of rough daily use. I scratched the leather near the buckle by carrying something hard that was protruding through the purse when I tried to buckle it. I was bummed at first but now I think it adds to the general look and patina. The color is beautiful! Looks like rich caramel. I get tons of compliments on this bag. It's heavy duty leather. Next I am thinking about getting one of their cross body bags but holding back to see if they end up making a larger tote.

Bag arrived quickly and was well packaged. Came with a cleaning sponge which is really useful. Very pleased with the quality of the bag and the service of the seller.
