I ordered an ibc 275 gallon tank that cane with a 2 inch ball valve. It’s fine threaded but it’s not npt threads. Is this the adapter I need ?

Most IBC totes have a narrow fine thread that is only intended to be used by the cap (which is not water tight). The key is to get the 2" cam lock with the NPT thread and pair that with this product. You can also get cam locks that go straight to the 3/4" garden hose.

How do I get in touch with ne tanks to verify the correct fitting?

So if there is a threaded dust cap on the tank this top will not work for you. You’ll need the cam lock fitting.
