Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix, 8 qt. (2-Pack)

Great mix! I use this as my base for sansevieria, hoyas, and my ponytail palm. Then I add amendments per each plant type if needed. Not much needs to be changed though because this is always great quality mix. My plants clearly like it because I see amazing growth with my sansevieria which are known to be slow growers. It must be just the correct mix of nutrients and fertilizers in the bag. You can't match this price, I definitely use a lot, too. I'm always adding to my collection. I also appreciate that this soil mix doesn't come soaking wet like it can when ordered from a gardening center. I hate when they're stored outdoors due to pest issues. I always buy this cacti mix. It's honestly my favorite because the quality is always great and it's always a great price.

Works like it should. Plants love it, plants grow great. No infestations. Consistent through bag, and weight is two 8 inch pots for each bag. I do wonder why this out of everything I ordered took a long time? Planting a massive monstera tomorrow. Will check back.

What a great deal! 2.bags at an affordable price. This works well for my succulent plants. Also, I like to mix this 50/50 with other potting soil to prevent other soil from clumping around roots and holding too much moisture

This soil is wonderful. I'm going to use it for all my indoor plants, whether succulent or not. I'm a believer and highly recommend this product for all your indoor plants. It feels so good and healthy.

Its good soil. Just be careful not to pack it too tight into your planting pot as it tends to get a little too cement like (especially if you don't dampen the soil before potting it)! I feel that, while this soil is good, its also very fundamental/simple. Its not exceptional. The reason I always come back to this specific soil for my citrus/cactus plants is I've never had a mold or parasite/bug infested bag. Also I personally have never had it grow any mold over the years of continued use. And the price is very reasonable. Lastly, the nutrient content seems weak if its there at all, but supplementing for plant specific needs is best practice anyway so I personally prefer it that way.

When my potted orange tree looked worrisome, I bought this. After gently scooping out a large quantity of heavier soil (being very careful, not to damage the roots) and replacing it with this; it looked much better. It's very easy on the roots and has the usual aid of their quality soils

This soil has been excellent for my cactus plants. I also loved that the bags were manageable because they weren’t huge. It offers the plants good drainage and I’ve seen lots of growth.
