DANA XU 100% Merino Wool Extra Large Pashmina Shawl for Women

I was skeptical about ordering this scarf but very pleased and surprised that 1) the pattern and colors look just like the photo 2) it is actually 100% wool as stated and it looks quality in person . It has a very nice feel to it as well. I think these scarves rival the quality of designer brands with you know the letters and logos- but without the hundreds or thousand dollar price tag. This would also make a very nice, classy gift for a woman of any age.

Beautiful pashmina. Came in a lovely gold organza wrapping with gold frog closure. Large, soft it will serve perfectly for lightweight warmth on planes. Do expect the colors are more subdued than appeared in photos. (1st star wouldn’t fill in)

There are many really beautiful designs in this brand, one more lovely than the next. It's always a duck shoot when buying made in China. I usually factor in price vs potential low quality to avoid disappointment. What I was most pleased about was how perfect the weight was, light but not unsubstantial. I am using this for a meditation shawl for starters. It will not weigh me down and can be gathered up for more warmth if needed. The size is very large and would add a layer for just going out, but I'm sure I will be wearing it a lot, with or without a coat. There is a nice but subtle design to the fabric. The colors are beautiful and vivid. Since it is all wool, I decided to take a chance washing by hand with Woolite as there was a slight "factory" smell. It did give off a little dye in the wash water but there was no fading or bleeding of colors. It's perfect for what I want.

I purchased this oversized wrap as a chic travel blanket. I wanted something that would look really nice and fashionable if I had to carry it around my neck because of space but still be warm and lightweight. This fit all of those bullet points. I love this wrap. I laundered it before we left and it held up great (hand washed with wool shampoo in cold water, laid it out to dry my basement near the humidifier so it was out of the sun). I am 5'9 and it was a good travel blanket for me covering my shoulders and draping my reclining body in business class. Never got too cold on the plane with this item and even used it as an extra blanket on bed during my trip. It's gorgeous and since it's finally fall I'll probably use it as a layering item. Stunning in person. I got the pattern that is black with cream trim along the edge and the pink floral print stretching out from the center. High quality material. Nice lightweight wool extremely happy with my purchase.

This fabric is so incredibly soft and its large enough to double as a lap throw. Especially on very long flights. High quality fabric with vibrant colors. I’ll be giving them as gifts. I got two and plan on getting more. I love them!

I only recently found this brand after a lot of searching for a scarf/wrap to wear on a big trip to Europe (16 days). We are flying from Chicago to London and sailing on a cruise from the port of Dover. We pack very small, not one-bag, but carry-on and personal item, so the functionality is extremely important to me. This beautiful scarf, shawl, wrap meets every need I will use it for on the trip. I was going to wait until we traveled to review it, but the truth is, after I fell asleep under it while trying on my traveling outfit, I knew I made the right choice. I like the thickness of this scarf, it would be cozy when wrapped, or also keep a chill off if used as a shawl. Washability I can't speak to. There was no smell when I opened it and I felt no need to risk washing with the pretty fringe. I would probably rarely wash it. So, I'm back here to say this scarf is a great value for the money. It's the biggest one I've been able to find. It's merino wool and it doesn't bother me (some wools do). Wish me luck, I will update with how many times I was able to use it! And I'm thinking since I'm wearing this one on the plane, and they roll up so small, maybe one more just to switch it up on the trip.

I am a plus sized girly (250lbs) and have difficulty finding nice long pashminas that go around me, cover me when I need it, and go with everything. This is so perfect. It’s a nice weight, like I feel like I could use it in summer in FL on a night out, but it will also keep me warm on an airplane (which is probably what I will use it for the most). I put a picture of the front, and also a picture of the back so you can see how nice the print looks on both sides so if you accidentally get it inside out, it still looks beautiful. I will consider buying a couple of these as gifts for friends/family. But honestly, I think I’m going to pick out another one for myself first. This is like an heirloom item to be passed down. Right now, I am in search of instructions for how to properly care for it because I don’t want to ruin the fibers or fade the colors. If you’re on the fence… Buy it.

Yes the ad photos probably used a child model so the scarf looks even larger. But although thin, this shawl is immense and very warm. Cheap, luxurious and chic! Great for travel to block light or annoying seat neighbours on planes or trains. Good for mom's to use as blankies or picnic blanket. Makes an excellent sarong post unexpected ocean swim. Good as a turban to protect wet hair. Emergency sling or tourniquet that looks like a million bucks. Swathe yourself in it when the hot pot broth flicks across the table and stains your white shirt. Cover your seat in the transit to protect your butt from the gross. You can probably even use it as a garotte as needed. Totally a good buy!
