I found great anise candy again!
I had forgotten all the years I enjoyed anise candy. It was a case of out of sight, out of mind. The anise that was in all the stores were squares wrapped in red cellophane. the company must have gone out of business. Someone mentioned anise candy. I didn't know which brand but Sperlari was mentioned in an article as being one of the two best. I made a great choice. This is delicious anise. I am so happy to have found something I once enjoyed so much!

Black Licorice Flavor through and through!
For the minority of us who LOVE the flavor of Anise, or black licorice - this is delicious. It is a hard candy; don't expect something chewy, but the flavor is great...Not at all the "molasses" stuff that they try to pass-off as Black Licorice flavor. If I had any criticism at all I'd say that the candies are to large - Half-size would be ideal, in my opinion.

Great hard candy for travel to soothe an upset stomach and just tastes good if you don’t have that problem.

Has both an up and down side.
If you like the taste of licorice these are addictive although they are bit pricey, I believe if you could find these in a local store they'd be much cheaper. There is a down side for me after consuming more than one my voice becomes weaker and harsh, it's only temporary but people have asked me to speak louder.

Adoro l'anice, queste caramelle dure sono gradevoli da sciogliere in bocca e soprattutto facilitano la digestione,il bi pacco ha un prezzo molto vantaggioso, le consiglio a chi vuole tenere in casa anche su un vassoio delle caramelle pronte per gli ospiti, sono confezionate singolarmente,quindi anche molto comodo da portare in borsetta pronte per l'uso, decisamente consigliate.
