In the spring I dug the ground, removed as much weeds as I can then sowed the seeds and raked them over. I did put some netting over to protect them from the birds (although there was still on determined blackbird that kept sneaking under the net). For a while, I wasn't sure if the weeds were returning or if new plants were coming up, but then, all of a sudden, flowers started to appear. Since then we've had a constant display of differing flowers attracting bees and butterflies. Every day there's something new, be it just a new flower or a new type of flower coming out. It is a bit patchy, but that is probably down to my sowing technique and I hope it will fill out better next year. There also isn't many flowers in the 1/3 of the area that is in the shade of some large bushes and trees, but I've bought some seeds that like the shade to supplement them next year. As I'm not much of a gardener, I couldn't say what sort of flowers have come out, but for my first go, I'm happy with the results. Not much grass though. Edit for 2nd year - So, a little bit disapointed with it this year as none of the colourful flowers have grown, just lots of tall dasieys and wild carrot. Lots of grass too. Seller has advised that I cut the tall stuff down now (mid-July) in the hopes of encouraging the colour back again. Review: Disappointing - all grasses and no flowers!! - I have propagated these seeds from March this year in my greenhouse and also outdoors. Neither of them are showing any signs of flowers and it doesn't look even remotely to what is pictured on the pack. I don't mind having some grass seed in the mix, but this is all grass and no flowers, so certainly not what it says on the pack! Surely, if I want grass seeds, I would buy grass seeds?! For the money it is definitely not good value - very disappointing and cannot recommend to anyone else either!

Totally my fault for not reading product content properly. Both the flowers and grass have grown magnificently however as I only wanted flowers in my beds iv spent many an hour pulling up wonderful green grass any person wanting a lovely lawn would be proud of 🤪

Poor product! Doesn’t grow to anything apart from weeds!
Very poor! Arrived quickly but if I wanted a garden full of weeds I wouldn’t have spent this much money on them! No growth apart from weeds! Planted exactly as advised. Watered etc and nothing! Won’t be buying again!

Flower garden
Good product. I bought this to use on a small patch of garden with the purpose of attracting wildlife. Easy to sow and is now beginning to grow well
