As a person who chronically sits cross-legged but is past the age of thirty, so who's knee's need a break from the ground, this is the best office chair. I work so much better on a couch or standing- basically anything but sitting at a normal desk. If you're thinking, she sounds like she is ND, yes I am. This allows me to work in comfortable positions to me but also sit at a desk. I was worried about the back rest being too high, or the cushion on the seat being too hard. Nope, both perfect. The seat cushion is firm but not too hard and the back rest comes just below my shoulders. Also, as a plus sized woman, I am happy to report, this is wide enough and sturdy enough to fit me comfortably. Even if you are simply a plus sized person looking for a wider office chair and aren't interested in the extra benefits to use neurospice people, this is a great option. I'm 5'8" (all in my legs) and this chair gets high enough that I can't touch the ground. The seat is curved but not so much that you feel you're sitting in a dip, and also it doesn't do that thing where the seat is tilted forward so you feel you may slide off. It's a nice almost canvas-y fabric. Not scratchy or itchy but does attract a little static. For all my praise, the shipping was a little rough and two pieces were broken on arrival; although they didn't affect the overall function of the chair. The instructions were like Ikea before they learned how to write instructions properly (uh... I hope this goes here? 🤔) But there isn't many pieces so with a little patience and attention it can be sorted. Fyi, you get 9 short screws and 4 long screws. The long screws are for attaching the back of the chair to the base. The short screws are for everything else.

Rolls really smooth, easy and quick assembly, beautiful fabric and it’s extremely comfortable! Had I seen this off sale I still would’ve bought it, it’s that great!!

so far the chairs pretty good. the assembly was smooth for me. a lot of people in other reviews struggled in the last step with lining up the holes on the back piece to the seat of the chair. i’d recommend putting the seat upside down on a surface like the edge your bed so when you attach the back piece, it faces the bed hanging off the edge. then loosely put the all of the screws in place so you’ll have wiggle room to be able to line the holes as you go, then fully tighten them down after they’re all in. but for the chair itself i have no complaints so far. color matches the picture, it’s not a super soft luxurious fabric but it’s definitely not rough or scratchy to me. im pretty picky about how things feel on my skin. the cushion is decent, looks just like the picture not very fluffy but still comfy. i plan to use this just to sit at my desk maybe 2hrs at a time tops mostly on the weekends. i can see anything longer than that becoming uncomfortable over time so if you work from home this would probably wear down pretty quick

This is my first day using it for a full day's work and I am already in love. I am moving around a lot and have a hard time sitting still so this is perfect. I can sit in multiple positions and move around easily without disrupting my workflow. The seat is comfy, and despite it being larger than a normal office chair, it still fits well in my small home office. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has similar issues. I only put a 4-star on assembly because I did not do it. My husband was nice enough to put it together and he said it was easy. It went together in less than 15 minutes. I just felt that it was unfair to give a full 5-star review on something I didn't personally have to deal with.

This chair is much bigger than I expected. It is a soft material, comfortable, and color is perfect for any decor. It has a gentle glide but is a little noisy with the lean back rocking function. Overall, it is a great chair for this price.

There are many criss-cross chairs for sale on Amazon, with prices ranging from reasonable, $70-$80 to unreasonable, $100 or more. When I bought this chair for around $89, it seemed like a good deal compared to similar chairs. However, I have two main issues with the Pukami brand: the padding is quite hard, and the chair squeaks and pops whenever I move. I don't mind firm memory foam padding, but this padding is just plain hard with little give, and the noise comes from where the seat attaches to the gas lift. Another annoying issue is that the adjustable arm under the seat isn't secure. One time over the few days I sat in the chair, the arm slipped out of the locked position, causing the chair to lean back unexpectedly. This function should only activate when the arm is intentionally pulled out. This type of chair is very easy to assemble, and I don't think the issue is due to assembly, so I'm unsure if mine is defective or if this is a common problem with this brand. Despite these issues, it was still much better than the smaller chairs I had been using, so I decided to keep it. However, I needed another chair for my work desk and ended up buying an identical-looking criss-cross chair from another Amazon seller at a cheaper price. While these two chairs look alike, the difference is significant. The new chair has softer fabric, and doesn't squeak or pop when I move. With that said, I decided to give the Pukami chair to a family member and purchased another chair from the other seller for my work desk. I am glad I tried the criss-cross chairs; they are great and, if you pick the right brand, very comfortable and roomy. I highly recommend this style of chair, just not this vendor. In my experience, if you are looking for a chair because your current one is no longer working for you, any criss-cross chair is likely better than what you are currently sitting in.

Really cute chair. It’s really big so there’s plenty of leg room, but it also barely fits under my desk so be aware if your desk is also tiny. There was a weird small for a couple days, but that’s largely gone. Easy to assemble

I purchased this chair in April 2024. When it first arrived I was very pleased with the size and comfort of the seat itself but unfortunately that is where my positive feelings end. By August of 2024 the chair had started making a very loud and startling popping sound when I sat down or shifted my weight at all. By September the hydraulic lift had mostly stopped working. In December I sat down in the chair (lower than I needed it to be because the lift was once again not moving and after it made the startlingly loud popping sound) and one of the wheels fell entirely out of the wheelbase and the chair toppled over with me in it. The mechanism inside the wheelbase that holds the wheel in place was broken and so there is no way to make it stay together. So I messaged the seller and tried to explain the problem to them and after some back and forth messages they said they were sending me replacement parts to fix the wheel issue and the hydraulics issue. "We have arranged the parts replacement and when it is shipped we will send you the tracking number in 3 days." That was said by them exactly one month ago today and I have yet to receive the parts or any kind of message informing me that they have been shipped. I don't think this chair is worth the money even though the seat is perfect and I don't think this company cares that they sell a crappy product. I have recommended a chair like this to everyone I know who prefers to sit cross legged but I make sure to link them to a different version from a different seller. If this seller ever actually follows through on the promises they made directly to me I will update my review to reflect that.

everything about the chair is perfect expect the odd sounds it keeps making every time you sit on it, it starts squeaking around so much. I've even uninstalled it twice to tighten the screws even more, nothing works,

The chair is really comfortable, it offers pretty good support and is exactly what i was looking for. The seat looks a little bit wrinkled after minimal use but I don't think it will rip or anything, the fabric just seemed a bit loose on the one part. The rest of it looks great! It's a little bit hard to sit normally on it to be honest, as the seat is long enough to sit cross-legged, but other than that it's an awesome buy! Definitely worth it!

Loved this chair, until it broke just over a year later. Guess you get what you pay for. I can’t tell how it broke, but the seat has fallen forward at the front so you just slide off. Too bad, I enjoyed sitting cross legged at times but can’t afford to buy a new chair every year.
