I'm in love. Size down.
My average-width feet are 10-3/8" long; I typically wear a size-10 shoe. Per the advice of other reviewers, I sized down to a size-9 W Croc, and the fit is perfect. If you'd asked me a year ago if I'd ever own Crocs, without hesitation I would've said: Nope! In a farm & homestead setting, the popular style of Crocsโ riddled with holes like Swiss cheeseโ admits far too much dirt and debris to be practical. (Speaking from experience after farmsitting for friends who have been using pop Crocs as their outdoor chores.) But when I learned about these specialist versionsโ without all the holesโ it was an aha! moment. I've been wearing my Crocs daily since April (approx. 6 month), and they are PERFECT for my application. I live in the country and need an easy solution for frequent transitions from indoor slippers to outdoor slippers. I want a comfortable and durable outdoor slip-on that covers my toes, provides decent traction, and keeps my socks clean and dry no matter what I get up to outside. Every day I use these clogs for gardening and light-duty homestead chores (and sometimes heavier projects), and they keep my socks clean & dry, even when I accidentally slosh water all over myself. (I'd recommend changing into proper work boots, however, if you're walking in exposed/loose soil, as deep/fluffy/dusty dirt can creep in over the open heel of a clog.) These specialist Croc clogs have been a big improvement over my former go-to outdoor slip-ons: Muck boots. The boots will come out again for winter, but for springโfall they can be a bit overkill and hot. (I don't mind sweaty socks if I'm hard at work, but when the sweat creeps up your legs it's a little less comfortable!) The Muck boots also aren't as easy to slip on/off, so sometimes I'd skip pulling them on if thought I was only stepping out for something quick & easy, only to return later with my so-called house slippers wet and dirty. The easy on/off of a Crocs clog has helped me kick that bad habit. The Mucks are also more expensiveโ at least twice the priceโ so the wear & tear you put on them from crouching positions comes at a greater cost. Although I take care to store them inside (out of the sun, duh people!) between uses, I've definitely been hard on my Crocsโ sometimes getting too comfortable and wearing them for intensive projects that would've been better suited for a genuine work/hike boot. Plenty of time spent crouching over tasks on the ground has imparted a permanent crease over the top that will probably crack open someday. But when that day comes, I'll replace these clogs with the exact same Crocs. These specialist Crocs have also been excellent camp shoesโ keeping my feet cozy and protected from errant twigs and forest floor debris, and keeping my socks clean & dry while handling camp chores. A big improvement over flip-flops, which used to be my go-to camp & casual outdoor footwear. Fun fact: I consciously realized I was "sold" on these Crocs after dreaming that I'd worn a high-heeled version of them to a block party in a big city (pfff! as if! LOL), andโ having taken them off at some pointโ I refused to leave the party until I found them. When I found them, someone had vomited into one and taken a bite out of the other, and I was still like: Nopeโ these are coming home with me! When I woke up from that bizarre scenario I had to admit to myself: I'm in love with my (specialist) Crocs!

Best Comfortable and Stylish Work Shoes
Got the Crocs Specialist II for work and they are legit. If you work in a restaurant or anywhere you're on your feet all day, these are the ones to get. The fit is true to sizeโas long as you know your heel-to-toe length, youโre good. Theyโre super comfortable and the 'Pivoting Heel Strap' keeps your foot locked in so your heel doesn't slip out while you're moving fast. Theyโre 100% waterproof and super light, which is huge when you're doing a long shift. โI like this style they look great I mean they'll make you look like a specialist. Iโm already planning on buying another pair when these finally wear out in a year or two. But some good advice buy insoles, there not expensive and they make everthing way more comfortable. For the price, theyโre definitely worth it. Solid work shoe for the kitchen or the floor.

Love these so much
Had to order a smaller size but these are so comfortable for work as a barista. Very sturdy and look great. Iโd order a back up pair but I donโt think I will need them for a very long time.

These run large
Female, 5' 7", 145#. Usual shoe size 8 to 8 1/2, medium width. Per the size guide, I ordered a women's size 8, and it was at least an entire size too large. Reordered a woman's size 7, and the length was a good fit. Still a bit wide, but I'll keep this pair as they are comfortable, lightweight, and have a more supportive arch than regular basic Crocs. Wish they were available in more colors.

Good Purchase for any Vet Tech
Bought these as I am a vet tech and work multiple days a week and on my feet 7-10 hours each day and they are very comfortable, true to color, and very work suited crocs. 1 suggestion is to size down 1 from your normal size if you want a good fit that wonโt feel like they are falling off.

VERY COMFORTABLE!!
I work in the healthcare field and I am on my feet majority of the day. BUTTT BAYYBEEEE these crocs are sooo dang on comfortable I don't know how to describe it. Now I have the regular classic crocs and they do not compare to the level of comfort that these shoes provide. It was well worth the money I spent on them. I do wish they had different colors, however I will not complain not one bit. They are true to size. I wear a size 9 and they fit perfectly. They are breathable even though there are no vents in them. My feet did not sweat at all and I had socks on with them. Usually with the classic crocs I have to put them in "Sport Mode" where you have to put the strap on for you to drive comfortably, well I did not have to do that with these shoes at all. They fit snugged but its a comfort feeling. If you're thinking about getting them RUNNNN don't walk and order then NOWWWWWWWW

rock hard compared to few yrs old ones. ..?
they fit right, they look right, but they feel extremely firm. they aren't literally rock hard but they're notably harder than the same version that's vented that are on my feet now. ...did they remove some chemical like a BPA or a pthathalate or something from their makeup that has made them stiff? or is there just variation in the batches? i know it's a long held/well established belief that people need to break in shoes but that's generally not a thing anymore. people just get used to the feel of a new shoe versus a shoe notably wearing in a few days to conform to your foot. I haven't bought any pair of shoes that needed to be 'broken in' for maybe 10 to 20 years, since I happened across a pair of sneakers running shoes that were shockingly comfortable, and even though they were on clearance and still expensive in my opinion they changed my mindset about shoes. it was a combination of having a little bit of foot pain on longer uses that taught me you shouldnt buy a shoe based on looks for long usage, unless the style that fits comes in a couple versions. I have found differences between re-releases but it's been two pairs of shoes that I could buy year after year and normally don't cause me foot pain even on day one. I know a lot of people won't care about this unless they actually have foot pain or achy tired legs or back after standing on their feet for a long time. and I do find it's hard to tell the subtle difference trying on shoes in a store. sometimes I can take hours before I can really tell, I tried a pair of Hoka one ones, an hour in it still felt perfect. a day or two in my feet ached notably. made me wish that I had tried them through prime and mopped the floors so that I could have tried them on longer. now it's relegated to being a very clean pair of shoes for occasional usage so long as it's not standing. they have a ginormous factor somewhat like these clogs (in what i feel is a comfy size) so they don't serve all purposes of a clean pair of shoes. I got a pair of croc sandals months ago that I actually didn't wear much & still dont cuz they felt overly stiff & stayed overly stiff. a big single material pair not one of the sleek looking ones that has less material to cushion. I miss when we could reply to reviews... I don't know I do find that there are times when crap gets in my vented shoes so there was a reason to have one closed pair and one open pair. I do generally wear socks not cuz you should but just to make them more comfortable, and since I managed to bruise a toenail it seems like I can't really go back to normal shoes yet without putting a little bit of pressure on that nail now and then so I might be in these for a while. and they're still so stiff that I'm like just in a bit of shock and not sure what I'm going to do yet. I had actually wondered if my few years old pair had stopped being as cushy or if I was just on my feet more. **NOTE: DO CLEAN WITH SOAP AND WATER LIKE THEY SAY - NOT LYSOL-LIKE SOLUTION. it seemed to disintegrate it a little bit on the surface and cuz I did later on take them into the shower to wash them (an easy place cuz I dont have to worry about splashing), but then after they still would leave a little footprint like of dirt behind while still wet when there was no dirt left so it definitely ate up the surface of the sole which is the only part I sprayed. I like the size I like the form and function but I don't know whether I'm going to keep this pair because it's so rigid.
