I absolutely love this set of tongs , they are the best tongs I have ever used. They are sturdy , you can tell they are quality made , they grasp the object (food) great , are easy to hold with the super grip handles , love the color red which I ordered and the locking design is great. It's like I thought all tongs were the same , I was so wrong these are so much better than my old ones that I had for like 100 yrs. ! Even my husband commented on these as he cooks on the grill, he stated that these have a great grip unlike our old ones and loves the locking mechanism which is so easy to use , a simple push and they are locked , snap and unlock how easy is that? They are easy to clean and you won't cut yourself as the tongs have more rounded edges not sharp but still have a great grasp at picking up any size or shape of foods , desserts, and great for grilling. I definitely recommend this set of 2 tongs because they are awesome and work great and SO well worth the low cost.

I've bought 6 sets of these tongs over the past several years. I love them! I love to cook, so I keep other sets at my friends' homes so I don't have to carry my original set around. They are very well constructed. In addition to their utilitarian qualities over the stove, I show them off to friends by using them to pick up toothpicks! High quality and I wouldn't be in the kitchen without them!

The silicone help to avoid heat transfer to your hand, good quality and not flimsy.

you get with you pay for - value wise these are great, it works well and easy to use (i mean it's tongs) however this compared to a nice set, these don't feel heavy duty. they are of thinner material so very light weight, perfect for simple easy cooking but if you need something robust and heavy, these aren't it.

After several years of burning my hands on the bbq and the stove I purchased these tongs. They are great for using on the bbq and we no longer burn our arm hairs trying to grab food from the back of the bbq. I am very short, and when there is a large pot of water on the stove I ALWAYS burn myself trying to turn the burner off. I use the 16 inch almost as pincers and just reach over the pot and "pinch" the turn off valve. I call them my "canning" tongs. I also love them for grabbing something off the top shelf (without) having to grab the step stool. While there are tools out there for reaching things off the top shelf they are not versatile. This we can use for bbq, canning, grabbing things and all around awesome kitchen tools.

I am wowed by the product. It is very high quality with push pull locking mechanism. It is stable and not flimsy all for a reasonable price.

Good quality and well made solid rings. The locking feature is great which keeps them closed for storage. Very easy to clean and no rust. Stainless steel metallic colour. They have a decent weight but not too heavy

Far better than silicon covered tongs. Silicon covered tongs don't clasp items securely. Stick to the original.
