It's a solid product. It has a nice weight to it, a fairly thick bottom and is polished. During cooking the heat is evenly distributed. The only issue so far is that the two handles and the lid knob will get hot.

I absolutely love this pot. I originally purchased it for use in canning, since many foods react to non-stainless-steel pots. However, I use it almost every day. It is the perfect size. It is also quality-made, and the thickness is perfect. I highly recommend this. I just ordered the 8-quart to use when making soups this fall/winter.

It’s a wonderful pot. Used several times now, spray with Pam and nothing has stuck to it. Easy clean up

At 8_3/4" wide, it's 1/2 inch narrower than my previous 5qt stock pot. The pot and the lid feel incredibly solid and durable.
