This grooming kit made trimming my dog's coat much easier than I expected. The clippers are surprisingly quiet, which helped keep my dog calm throughout the grooming session. They cut smoothly without pulling hair, and the battery lasted long enough to finish the entire job. The included accessories are a nice bonus. Overall, it's an excellent grooming kit for home use.

Got it today. Charged up in a few hours. Cut both dogs one after the other. I can’t remember the last time I cut them at the same time. It usually is torture so I end up doing one at a time and then don’t get to the other dog for a few weeks because I’m dreading it.. But this thing is a winner so far! It’s way lighter, quieter, and easier to maneuver than what I was using before (clippers for humans, which may or may not need a new blade. Not sure). This is simple to operate. The comb worked better than I thought it would. However the scissors seemed pretty bad. I did try them and they cut about 1/2inch of fur before getting stuck and bending the hair, twice. I’m a hair stylist and have good scissors, so I just used those instead. If you don’t have hair or fur scissors, I’d say this product is 4 stars because the scissors didn’t seem to work at all. But for me, this kit has what I need and is way better than what I was using before. Now I just hope it lasts for more than a few trims.

This is a great grooming set considering the relatively low price. My dog is on immunosuppressive drugs and can no longer go to the groomer for fear of him catching something. He desperately needed a haircut, but I didn't want to invest too much money on clippers since I didn't know how long I'd have to groom him myself (or if it's even something I'd be able to do). For less than the price of one visit to the groomer, I bought these clippers and a set of scissors. I've never used clippers before, but these were really easy to use. They were pretty quiet and quite comfortable to hold and use from different angles. I love that it's cordless and allows me to groom my dog outside. I was worried the blade would get hot, but it stayed cool the whole time I was using it. I have a 20 lb cockapoo with wavy, fine hair, but there's a lot of it. These clippers worked well on him, although I did need to make a few passes sometimes to get through all the hair. I did have to stop fairly often to pull hair out of the guide comb and brush hair out of the blade, but it wasn't a big deal for me. Sometimes the clippers did get a little stuck going through his fur, but that's because he had a tangle. As long as I combed through his fur well and the blade/comb wasn't clogged with fur, it worked great. I thoroughly clean and oil the clippers every time I'm done using it (I find an old toothbrush works better than the little brush that was included). The included directions didn't give very good instructions on how to do this, but there are a number of videos on You Tube that show you how. The accessories that came with the kit were not too bad. I love the comb. The tips were rounded with no sharp edges and worked great for detangling my dog. The nail clippers felt a bit cheap, but they cut cleanly. The straight scissors was okay. I haven't used the other accessories yet. The negative things about these clipper are: 1) I wish there were other guide combs that would allow me to trim my dog's fur just a little bit shorter (I'm too nervous to use the clippers without the guide comb), 2) The directions that came with the kit are not very clear, and 3) I found the company's website to be a little "iffy". I typed in the website listed on the instructions for registering your warranty - it didn't work, so I googled the company name and eventually found the warranty page. When I went to register my warranty - it said it I would receive an email confirmation, but I didn't (I registered again just to make sure I didn't enter my email address wrong, but still no confirmation was received). Also, when I clicked on their website to see what other products they have, I got an error message saying the page wasn't working (I tried several times on different days from different computers and got the same error message). I just hope if I ever need to contact the company that I'll be able to get through to someone and that this isn't some bogus company. Overall, I think if your dog is small or medium sized and you don't need heavy duty clippers, these are a great buy. I think I did a pretty good job considering I've never groomed a dog before. I'm happy with my purchase.

Works very well and is sturdy, but a little louder than wanted. It is a good quality product

This is a very nice kit. My pup's hair grows fast. I think it's his super power besides being adorable. The kit has every single thing you need to take care of grooming. I like the convenience of it being cordless. It comes with a very nice set of scissors and a grooming comb along with the sizers for shaving. I am very pleased with the product and the great price. It is also on the more quiet side so it helps my pup to not be so nervous.

For the price- it’s an okay product. Yes, it comes with everything you need to get started - Which is great. The shears are relatively quiet and didn’t get hot the entire time I had them on. But, I had to go through my dogs hair several times to get a good, even cut. To be fair, my dog has really thick hair, so it might have been her coat and not the shears themselves. They did what they needed to do and that was great. Now everything else in the box.... You pull it out and they’re seemingly very durable, well made items. The comb is great. Both pairs of scissors were incredibly dull which made cutting my dogs hair a pain. Instead of cutting a straight line, I had to fight with it and got choppy lines. I will have to sharpen them and try again. Another thing that was incredibly frustrating was one of the guards for the shears came broken. The guards seem very flimsy and low quality. I’m by no means a professional groomer - but I feel like this product is a bit on the lower end. It gets the job done, but wish I would have splurged on something a little higher quality.

I have a Goldendoodle with very thick, tight curls. I brush him out and before I'm done it's starting to curl again. I bought this Grooming Kit because our groomer was closed due to the Coronavirus. He had an appointment the day after the Governor closed non-essential business. So he was dirty and "fluffy". We used clippers that we've had for many years (people clippers) to cut him down a little before we received the new ones and they were ok. I groomed Murphy a couple days ago. First, I gave him a bath and the next day I brushed out all that beautiful coat. Then I put him on a 5' folding table in the basement and began to work. These clippers are very quiet. He didn't react at all. They trimmed him down beautifully without a hitch. They went through the thick coat easily...of course he was well brushed to begin with. That is a must! The clippers didn't get hot. The comb that came with the kit was really nice to use. We haven't used the nail clippers yet. The scissors that came with it were sharp and lightweight. I would definitely recommend this Grooming Kit if you want to groom the pet yourself. This will save us about $280 per year in grooming services if we decide to do this ourselves.

I never thought I could groom my own dogs but I thought I would try it to save money on professional services. I purchased this Pet Grooming Kit (PTOG1) by Pet Tech on Amazon and have been very happy that I did. It is light weight, not too loud and easy to handle for the novice groomer. I was concerned that it would be a cheap product and not be able to cut all the fur for two dogs or fizzle out and break due to overuse. Boy I have been pleasantly surprised which is rare these days. I actually have a heavy duty groomer called Wahl Homecut that I was too afraid to use because its loud and aggressive. I tried to use it one time and the dogs were not happy and neither was I. Also this product is guaranteed for life which I thought was too good to be true. A year after purchasing it the cord or battery was not working right. I would have to wiggle and press the cord in to get it to start. I reached out to the company through Amazon and they got right back to me via email thanking me for reaching out to them and said a replacement was on its way. And sure enough they sent a full replacement kit, not just the cord or battery. I am fully impressed. This product has paid for itself several times over. it stopped working within 3 months, and the seller says to contact the manufacturer who is unknown to me. If you buy this do not expect any after sales support form the seller. They are simply useless.

I'm really pleased with this grooming kit, especially for the price. The clippers feel solid and well made, and the battery appears to hold its charge well. They're not particularly loud either, which is a bonus when grooming pets that might be nervous around noisy equipment. The kit comes with a good selection of accessories, including guide combs, scissors, a comb and nail clippers, so you've got plenty of useful tools in one package. The scissors are sharp, and the teeth on the clippers feel sharp too. Overall, a practical, good-value kit for grooming your pets at home. It feels better quality than I expected for the price, and I'm happy with the purchase
