As long as they are lined up with the edge of where the two areas of your hair meet. The teeth of the clippers can still get caught under these...but you’d be less likely to make the mistake of cutting the hair you don’t want to cut.

Does the stickiness wear off

No. They are simply velcro and I love them!

How do you clean it between clients?
