Assembly is a bit rough but it is worth it for a good sights
The first thing I will say is that this is a bit more of a complex telescope to put together. It is pretty well built and well organized so you are able to easily know which parts you need when assembling. The instructions are pretty straight forward. The device does take some time to learn to use it. The telescope is pretty heavy so it is not something you can move too easily. You have to really be careful when moving it to avoid the telescope falling over and breaking ta lens. I would say if you are not tech savy this may be harder for your to assemble. It just has a lot of pieces. I had a fun time assembling this for my nephew and he really loves using this for looking into the stars. It gives you a good image but again it takes time to locate what you want to look at. It gives a decent view of the planet but it is not perfect. It takes time to really clear up the image. There are several different focus lens inside but I wish those were better packaged. You are able to get a close or far shot as needed and you can use your phone to take images if needed which is great. The eye view is nice and comfortable on the eyes. The focus is not too sensitive but again it takes time time to learn all the functions and it is not as intuitive as say a binocular. The focus is very strong and gave me a very good view for birds if I have it setup and focused in time. It is pretty easy to move around on the stand. Overall this is a very good device to have if you are a person who is good with assembly so you can get this up and running quickly. It is not exactly something I would give to someone who has a hard time assembly. The telescope is heavy so may take two people to assemble. It is not the easiest thing to setup for anyone but definitely worth it for star gazing.

Exceptional Telescope for Stargazing Enthusiasts as well as Amateurs!
I am absolutely thrilled with my new 150mm reflector telescope! With having numerous refractor and reflector telescopes in the small collection I have accumulated for our local astronomy club, this telescope has exceeded all my expectations and is easily now my go-to for exploring the night sky and easily sharing it with club members. Firstly, the construction is top-notch. The telescope feels sturdy and well-built, with high-quality materials that feel like they will withstand the frequent use of many hands for many years to come. Though the setup is a bit heavy the stable mount ensures steady viewing, allowing for clear and crisp images even at higher magnifications (especially with the handy phone holder that many others don't come with). This stability is crucial for detailed observations of planets, stars, and deep-sky objects. The slow motion cables move smoothly and once you equatorially align the scope it is so easy to track what you are looking at with just the use of one dial. What truly sets this telescope apart are the accessories included. It came with a few of the typical eyepieces of 25mm and 10mm but also with a 2x Barlow. I was really surprised that it came with a solar filter and two others I have enjoyed swapping out while surveying different targets. These accessories can be expensive add-ons when buying other telescopes but with this purchase, I have got everything I needed to thoroughly enjoy star gazing for hours. From the multiple eyepieces of varying magnifications to a quality finder scope, it felt fully equipped right out of the box whereas with my other telescopes, I had to acquire these separately. These accessories have greatly enhanced my viewing experience and allowed me to explore celestial objects with greater clarity and detail. The optics are outstanding, delivering sharp and bright views of the moon, planets like Jupiter and Saturn, and even deep-sky objects such as galaxies and nebulae. The 150mm aperture gathers a significant amount of light, making it possible to see fainter objects that smaller telescopes might miss even with some significant light pollution that I experience at my home. Setting up the telescope was straightforward, thanks to clear (and COLOR) instructions provided. I found the assembly to be easy and intuitive with the clearly marked individual boxes found in the larger double box it was shipped in. No need to collimate whatsoever and the mount even came pre-lubed. Overall, I cannot recommend this telescope highly enough. Whether you're a seasoned astronomer or a beginner looking to delve into the wonders of the night sky, this 150mm reflector telescope with its stable mount, high-quality construction, and comprehensive set of accessories is an excellent choice. It's an investment in exploration and discovery that will bring joy and fascination for years to come.

Very nice telescope and very well priced
My oldest son has wanted a telescope for years. I decided to start looking for a telescope that was not too expensive but looked like it was well built. I looked at several cheaper and several much more expensive telescopes. My budget was not going to allow some of the higher priced telescopes. Arrived very fast and the packaging is very good. I would consider keeping the box for storage as it has all the foam inserts to keep it secure for shipping. The build was easy and you can tell it’s very well built by the weight of the items. The gimbal is very smooth and heavy. The large telescope is very expensive looking and impressive. It looks like it would cost several hundred more than I paid. The motion is very fluid and I am very impressed with the performance of this telescope. You can add your phone to take photos "which I will upload here later" It comes with a laser sight and lenses. We have been amazed at the clarity and detail you can see with the moon. We will try to sun with the filter when the rain stops. If you are thinking about getting a lower priced but high quality telescope I would highly recommend this model. My son loves it. stay tuned for more photo's. Update. Had another clear night to get some decent shots. It’s a little difficult to get the phone part setup but once you understand it’s not bad at all. Added a couple moon photos.

Great product for price
This is a great starter telescope for the price. There is some limitations on angle positioning but otherwise, it's easy to use. Swapping out lenses lost the focused star and you have to start all over trying to line it up again to get the planet on view. I also ordered new lense pieces as the ones that this comes with aren't the greatest quality. Otherwise great product. Materials are very sturdy and it was easy to put together straight out of the box.

Solid scope
Definitely seems like a descent telescope. Images were clear at 25 mm and slightly more blurry at higher magnifications but a bit to quickly. Suspect collimation was knocked out during transportation and still working on perfect collimation. Mount is sturdy and responsive slow motion knobs. With 6 inches of aoerature it's a lot of aperqture at this price range. Did get a refund due to some issues but the customer service was 5 stars absolutely pleasant

Beginner scope with some Pro potential
Unboxing & first impressions: Be prepared for a large box, but everything is well packed and marked. It's very easy and fun to assemble. I was instantly impressed with the build quality of the mount and the telescope. The manual is translated well and helpful. (TLDR: this is a good telescope that can be upgraded to be a great telescope) Cons: The eye pieces are entry level and what you'd expect to be included. The phone holder is difficult to align. The focuser is all plastic All of these are easily solvable with a few upgrades that you could add at anytime if you want to get a little more serious about the hobby. Pros: You get a much bigger telescope for the price of others. This is a light-bucket. It's in the f4 range, which means you're capturing much more light (higher resolution images). Everything is sturdy, well constructed (I would get a better focuser if you plan on adding a camera) Once you understand the equatorial mount it's easy to find objects and track them with the fine-adjustment knob. Which... you can switch the position of the knob from left to right... a small but nice feature. Big picture: This is a great telescope at this price point. It's a good beginner telescope that has much more capability to grow with you as you enjoy the hobby.

Nice beginner/semi-pro telescope
I purchased this telescope in Feb 2026. Being new to astronomy as a hobby I was looking for a reasonably priced beginner scope with some semi-pro capabilities. Setting up was fairly easy to locate the correct polar alignment, especially with help from all the YouTube videos available that also helped with mastering the dreaded collimation on Newtonian Reflectors. After a couple of views of the stars, the moon and planets, like Jupiter and Venus (Mars and Saturn were not visible in the sky yet), I decided to upgrade my eyepieces from the standard Kellner 10mm & 25mm that came with this scope. Although I was able to view Jupiter and it's 4 moons, and the moon was clearly visible with crisp craters with the Kellner eyepieces. Spending a little more $$ on slightly better Plossl lenses improved my viewing experience. I also purchased an SVBONY 7.1mm to 21mm Zoom lens for about $45 US dollars. Eyepieces can get very expensive, but for this $300. scope I can't see spending $300 or more for an eyepiece when the cheaper ones allowed me to see the bands and the great Red Spot on Jupiter, the Plaedes star cluster, NG1980, the Beehive cluster, Orion Nebula, etc., etc., all viewable from my backyard with some light pollution around. I have yet to get to a designated dark sky location to see how much more can be seen with this telescope. Bottom line is, this telescope is pretty nice and made well for the price and for a beginner like me. Sorry, I should have added some pics. Maybe I'll add some photos in the near future.

Great clarity and brightness. Mount isn’t that complicated
The picture was so bright that I had to use the low-light lens cap which is a very good thing. Didn’t use a filter though so I can’t speak for that experience. Jupiter and Saturn were clearly visible and easily findable with the mount and finder scope. The mount is actually pretty intuitive to put together as long as you can read directions. Doesn’t need to be disassembled when you store it either. It’s good because you can make micro adjustments while looking through the eyepiece. The altitude adjustment could be better with ease and speed but it makes sense since it’s moving a huge amount of weight. Comparing this to a traditional mount where I have to tighten and retighten constantly, it’s a major improvement. That weight isn’t much though, I was surprised at how light the components were but it has some heft when fully together. The zoom leaves a little to be desired compared to a refractor telescope, which is normal for these reflector telescopes, the trade-off is that you get veeery good brightness. Don’t expect the Barlow lens to allow you to see into the next century because there’s a maximum usable zoom for all telescopes depending on the focal length. Once you go over, the picture will get very blurry. Overall I’m very happy with it, the cost does mean quality too as the parts were very nice. Five stars. I’d recommend it. Pictured is Jupiter and it’s 4 moons, a moon pic, and some of the telescope with me for scale. Heard are my friends trying to sabotage my contribution to the fair people of Amazon. The telescope also gets taller than pictured but we had to lower the tripod some to get the eyepiece to our level. I’m 5’8
