It clearly works as advertised. There are many of these available and it doesn't really matter which one you choose. It can be applied on affected fingers (depends which one your child sucks) like a nail paint. It has a foul smell and extremely bitter taste. There are a few things that I would point out for all parents: 1. Your child may suck his/ her thumb till 3 years of age which is perfectly fine. Dissuade them from it and they will normally leave it after 3 years. So don't use such things unless 3 years have been breached. If you use it earlier, your child will anyways develop a taste for it which will defeats the purpose. 2. While this is non-toxic, it is still a chemical. Try not unnecessarily exposing your child to these. Also, the bitter taste stays in mouth for 15-20 minutes. Drinking water doesn't help it. 3. The chemical does not go by washing with water/ soap as it is absorbed by the skin. Typically remains on the skin for 4-6 hours and washing doesn't help.

My child vomited all food after applying this on her thumb ! The smell of the product is like thinner strong smell like alcohol ! The smell didnt go from her her hand even after washing many times!! And even after 5-6 hours!! Didn't like the product sorry !! 😐

I don't recommend it to anyone because it makes your baby's mouth bitter for a long time and they stopped eating anything also it makes everything bitter wherever it touched so not a good experience for me

This smells really bad and can make one not want to bite nails. It will help slightly but for the very stubborn and addicted nail biters with years of habitual compulsion, it’s still not enough. Bought it for someone and they still bite the nails even with this on the nails. They do admit it smells bad so might maybe reduce the frequency but it’s not a complete habit blocker.
