Works as advertised one of the more cost effective options for a PS5 storage upgrade. Read Write performance comparable to onboard storage. Upgrade process was surprisingly easy. Great experience overall, highly recommended. Sony's website has the installation video for all PS5 versions but generally it's sliding /popping off a plastic panel removing a small metal door with a Philips screwdriver seating and installing the drive in the port and reversing the process to seal it up. PS5 will need to format it on fist boot and you will need to choose / move installed games from the onboard storage to the new drive. I haven't noticed any difference in load times between the two so you may as well re-direct all new game installs to the new drive.

Was very easy to install in my ps5 Lexar has always been a good company so I got a quality one with good value runs smooth as butter now my ps5 has so much room no more having to move stuff from one drive to another I downloaded so many games from my PlayStation plus library I can jump from game to game with ease now and still a lot of room left after call of duty spideman 2 last of us and so many more

I purchased this for my first gen PS5. I was looking at different options at a reasonable price and this was a great deal. The Lexar NM790 is a fantastic option to expand the internal storage, it was easy to install (just took a couple minutes literally!) and works perfectly with the console. There is no lag and games load up super fast. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a capable SSD internal storage for your PC or compatible gaming console.

World perfectly

Fits on my motherboard nice and snug. The speed is really good takes less time to download, usually takes me 1 day at least to get everything downloaded, but now up to 4hrs or less. The drive quality is nice, it came with a heat sink and it’s really easy to use. Will buy another one of these, but with a bigger space, still don’t know where the storage space go. Before I set up windows11 os, it stated I had 989gb of space. Other than that, great drive would recommend just go for a larger storage if you have money to spare.

So far it has been great! It was really easy to install on my PS5. The price was hard to beat online or in a physical store. I thought the 2TB wasn't enough storage, but it is! It holds Battlefield 6, the entire COD modes, disc game saves, and still has about 100GB for whatever. I looked at a handful of different brands, but I feel the Lexar was a good choice.

Working great for the ps5. The extra space is handy. Installation was breeze.

Absolutely impressive speeds, I don't even have time to go to the toilet or do something else when I am copying files or waiting for my games to load. If you have the budget, this is a must buy.

Tarde mucho para decidirme a adquirir una memoria para el PS5 ya que los costos son muy considerables. No quería escribir porque no tengo ni un mes con el producto. Solo puedo decir que estoy muy contento hasta ahorita con la memoria funciona excelente. En unos meses regresaré para confirmar si es un buen producto o no. Espero que le sirva a alguien. No me deja subir fotos no se porque.
