Definitely Helps my Old Man
I have an elderly chow chow who has severe arthritis in both his front and back legs. He has been on meds for years, but a recent rapid decline in his mobility had me desperate to try something...anything...else. We have no ground level exit to the yard, so a lot of days find him on the porch and unable to go down the steps to relieve himself. He refuses to use a ramp and hates harness systems. Obviously this made him very uncomfortable and resulted in quite a few accidents in the house. I thought I would try this product on the "what can it hurt" theory. I gave him his first dose on a Friday night, and the second the following morning. To my amazement, Saturday was the best day he has had in months. He was up and down the steps multiple times all on his own; at least four or five times. Sunday and Monday found him a little less spry, but still far better than he had been. Today he is much improved again; His floofy little face just LOOKS happier.. I never believed there could be an immediate effect, and I am excited to see how he does when he's been on it for a few weeks. Now for the downside. My dog is a notorious pill spitter-outer. He doesn't like anything and only has one or two treats he will eat. This is definitely not one of them. I have to place his regular meds in gelatin capsules and ball them up into various food stuffs, each of which only lasts for a week or two before I have to change it around again. If pill spitting was an Olympic sport, we'd have a roomful of gold medals. Anytime a medication promises that dogs love the taste, I laugh until I cry. I frequently wonder how a dog who eats kitty litter can be so finicky. He strongly dislikes the taste/smell (who really knows?) of this product, and surprisingly enough, my German Shepherd isn't a fan, either. So far I have hidden these in wet dog food or tuna fish, but it's a battle I don't think I will be able to win much longer. I will continue inventing new ways to get him to eat these because THEY WORK. If you have a dog who gobbles up everything, no questions asked, these are truly awesome. If you have a picky dog, however, these may not be for him/her unless you are well-versed in hiding things they dislike in a tastier package. I still gave these an overall 5 star because THEY WORK and would be great for feeding to less finicky pups. For the rest of us, grab a hot dog or cheese slice...it's going to be a bumpy ride. Well worth the effort, though. UPDATED 11/4/21: So good news and bad news. The good news is that the old man started to eat these now on his own, probably about 95% of the time. I just try, and if he won't eat it, we're done until the next pill time. But he just started eating them, without being wrapped in anything!! The bad news: the old shepherd who eats them without question has started to throw up after eating them. I changed a few things to make sure these were the problem, and they are. I would still recommend giving them a try; we're on our second jar now.

Great Supplements, highly recommend!
My dog was showing signs of discomfort in his leg, it was starting to become more frequent to a point where if he jumped, he would whimper. He is a large dog, around 74 pounds, 6 years old. I started to give him these supplements and within 2 weeks of taking them, the whimpering stopped all together, he's able to jump again and get up without pain. He used to be afraid of jumping because of the pain but now he is his old self again. I really give credit to these supplements for that, as that is the only part of his diet that has changed. Not a bad price, although my dog did not really like the taste, he still eats them with peanut butter and actually looks forward to it as a treat in the morning. Highly recommend if you have a dog prone to hip dysplasia/starting to show signs.

Good product...dog approved
This product, so far, has been working great. My 6 year old Cane Corso plays and run around with no issues. It's still too early to tell if this product is the reason behind it, as I was using a name brand glucosamine tabs from Costco for over a year now. She loves the flavor and I love the ingredients. I will continue using! I also give my fur baby the 10 in 1 multivitamin. Preventative maintenance is key to helping my large breed dog in the long run.....I can't reverse time, but I can help her along the way :-)

2.5 weeks, no more clicking hip!
We've tried many different brands and hip/joint supplements for our girl, Bubby but she's remained in a slow steady decline for the last 2 or 3 years. She's a Beagle/hound mix, with the boxy body shape - wide hips that make her back end move independently from her front end. She hasn't ran in over a year, so we get most of her exercise from swimming which is not possible year round here in Ohio. Last year when she developed an audible click in her back left hip the vet prescribed an anti-inflammatory, but that made her act like not herself and she gained so much weight on them I thought they were going to make her worst so we took her off. The only other option is therapies and surgeries, we simply don't have money for, so we started looking for a higher quality supplement. The reason we tried Pet Honesty Advanced Hip and Joint is because they are one of the only ones that have all the ingredients known to help stop damage, rebuild joints and help with the pain (other than hemp, which we give separately in a liquid) ALL in one chew in the therapeutic strength , AND the feedback is good AND they just look like a better quality product. Within a week we saw her looking and acting more comfortable, in 2 weeks we noticed the click in her hip is gone! And, 17 days later I saw her actually run with the other 2 dogs in the back yard (actually it was a short lived jog, but an improvement!) Maybe it sounds a little commercially or too testimonial, but it's the only product that has done so much in such a short time. We will be sticking with this one.

won’t buy again
This us a good supplement in that I think it helps older dogs with their joint health. However, my picky eater didn’t like them on their own so I’d crush 2 between my fingers & add to his food. Which was great, until they changed the formula & now they’re too hard to crush: I have to get a sharp knife & a cutting board to cut the pieces small enough to incorporate into the food. Fortunately, there are other brands with similar formulas, so will now search for another product to buy.

Seem to be helping our dog
My dog has torn ACLs in both legs. I don't have scientific proof these work but based on a vet recommendation these are part of her diet. She eats them with no issues and they seem to help her mobility. At 8 years old she is still able to run and play as long as we are careful.

My dog, an 8 year old lab/shepherd mix, just loves them! I have seen an increase in her energy levels - she's fetching sticks and balls like a puppy. She was in pretty good shape before starting this supplement, so hopefully this will be a preventative measure to slow down joint pain and maintain mobility as she ages. She's been taking these chews for about 3 weeks now. So far, I am very satisfied and sure hope the results continue.

I bought this a couple weeks ago for my aging pup. She’s 8. And I’ve noticed in recent months she’s a little slower and stiff so she’s been getting this product for a little more than a week and she’s already back to jumping back up on the couch and moving with more ease. Hoping it’s not just a coincidence. 😊
