Best Lightweight Winter Gloves I've Bought
I love these gloves enough that I've bought them 4 years in a row. Which at first brings up a question of durability, but I don't necessarily use them for their intended purpose. I'm a forklift operator, and most of my time in the past few years has been spent in a lumber yard in Texas. So, they see a lot of use that they aren't meant to handle, and a lot of wild temperature changes. But they stand the test of time and wear year in and out. They are running gloves, as we all know. But they have kept my hands warm driving at speeds up to 15mph in the rainy and windy cold. They have a water repellent exterior and a felt interior, so they do well to keep my hands dry as well (when not in a torrential downpour). They have kept my hands warm in temperatures as low as 5°F. On top of keeping my hands warm, they have also served as work gloves on cold days. When the weather permits, I don't wear proper work gloves. So for me, it's important that the gloves I do wear do not impead my grip or dexterity. And these don't. I'm not gonna say that they're not noticeable when working with them, because they are. But they aren't an annoyance or obstacle when you need to do something with your hands. All that said, the advertised touch screen use isn't really an option. That's the one thing these gloves don't do for you, unfortunately. When the screen does detect your touch, it's typically not where you were trying to touch. I'll round this off by saying that they are good gloves for people with sensory issues. I personally will refuse to wear a comfort item if it's an uncomfortable texture or fabric for me. But, thankfully, these gloves have never triggered my sensory issues. Even after many washes, and being caked in mud, chemicals, and sawdust the gloves feel do not change. One final note, this is my 4th year buying this pair of gloves. The first year: I used them until they had holes in the sides of the pointer fingers, which was approximately 4 months of use in hard labor. The second year: I used them the same way for about 3 months before my co-worker stole them, which he proceeded using them for 2 more months before losing them. As far as I know, they never developed holes the second year. The third year: I used them as they were intended, as I wasn't working at the lumber yard or on a forklift. I used them for 4 months before another one of my coworkers stole them. To my knowledge they are still in pristine condition, and he uses them for biking (he regularly participates in bicycle races and wears them when it's chilly). And this is my fourth year purchasing them, the quality and use I have gotten out of them is well worth the price. I highly recommend them.

An alright glove
These gloves keep my hands warm in dry and moist (but not rain) weather down to 30 degrees or so. I use them as an everyday glove commuting around NYC, biking, and running in the winter months. They do the job against a hefty breeze, and when it’s wet out, but not actively raining. However, in the rain, while my hands don’t necessarily get soaked wearing these gloves, they do get very cold very quickly. These may handle snow alright, but I wouldn’t expect them to keep my hands warm much beyond 20-25 degrees or so (snow and colder weather is as of yet untested). Sizing: I have wider hands on the smaller side, so I ordered the small, which fit by the numbers - fingers are the right lengths, and palm stretches comfortably to fit well. But when I take them off after a bit, I’m left with red crease lines on my hand from the internal seams. Not a good look. SmartTouch - seems to work, but doesn’t not allow for precision or sensitivity on the touch screen. I can open an app; but typing something the keyboard doesn’t turn out very well. UPDATE: 2 months after purchasing these, they are holding up in good condition. I was contacted by the seller and given a refund for my dissatisfaction described above. I have updated from 2 to 4 stars for customer service.

I love these gloves
These gloves are great. They have a nice grip, fit snuggly, are warm, look good and feel great. I liked them so much I got my son a pair too.

Warmer than you'd think
I originally bought these gloves a couple of years ago, and have been using them during my daily bicycle commute to work through all seasons except summer. Their performance is excellent. They do have limitations. They are not waterproof (or even water resistant) and when they get wet, they get cold. They are not wind resistant. They are a bit slippery -- not in terms of grip, but the shell overall. The reason that I've purchased them three times is because they have a tendency to fall out of my pocket due to being slick. However, without wind or being wet, they are comfortable and warm. I've been taking them for winter camping, in the snow with the lows around 10F, and they're the gloves I use when I'm walking around and not doing a lot of touching of cold or snowy things, which means they're the gloves I use the most. They're thin enough that I can actually use my hands, but warm enough that my hands don't get unacceptably cold (although at those temperatures, they also aren't warm). I really love these gloves. They perform better than I expected and, when used with their limitations in mind, they're excellent enough that I continue to replace them each time I lose them.

Touch-Screen Feature is a Disappointing
The gloves are comfortable, reasonably warm and water-resistant; however, I’m not particularly impressed with the touch-screen feature. Unless you happen to be using an electronic device that has a very large screen and equally large app icons, the touch screen feature very useful. While wearing the gloves, I’m able to unlock my phone (using the PIN), but I have to be very slow and deliberate — applying a fair amount of physical pressure — and I’m also able to answer and decline calls. I can open an app, using the same aforementioned care, but if you have hopes of being able to actually type a text, or type ANYTHING for that matter, while wearing these gloves, I’m afraid that I must dash those hopes. If anyone else is able to perform this task, while wearing these gloves, his/her skill far exceeds my own. If you are looking for a pair of lightweight gloves that provide reasonable warmth and water resistance (and do not plan to use them for heavy-duty work that requires gloves that can resist wear and tear), then these are pretty good gloves. If, however, your main goal is to find a pair of gloves that would allow you to use all features of an iPhone or other smartphone or device, without removing them (as was my goal), then I recommend that you continue your search. These gloves are nowhere near up to that task....

So far, exactly what I was looking for
Hi! Thanks for reading this review. I'd like to start off by letting you know that I actually purchased these gloves and did not get them in exchange for writing a review. I saw these as a 'Deal of the Day' and was in the market for just this style of glove. It ticked all of the boxes for gloves to wear while kayaking in the cold Ohio fall mornings. I wanted wind and water resistance with a touchscreen ability. Upon my first time using them to kayak, I put the gloves on and dipped them in the water to test the waterproofness. The water definitely beaded up and rolled off. No issues there. Then I pulled out my phone to start my tracking app. The touchscreen fibers in the fingers worked great. Better than expected, actually. They are definitely windproof and the silicon palm grip dimples allow me to hold onto my paddle firmly. I questioned what size to get and ended up selecting a medium. I am not a big guy and mediums usually work for me. These seem to run a bit smaller than the other gloves I have and ended up being too tight. That is really the only negative that I have found so far and it is no fault to the seller. But, because they are too tight, they seem to restrict the blood flow in my hands and don't seem very warm. I ended up giving them to my daughter and, because I liked them so much, ordered another pair for myself in a size large. If it is really cold out you will probably want something thicker but I would recommend these for any outdoor activity where being waterproof, windproof, and touchscreen sensitive is your main focus.

long lasting and effective!
i’ve been using these multiple times each weekday for over a year now, and they’ve held up very well. they are water resistant, not waterproof. however, it rains a LOT where i live, and i’ve never had issues with my gloves being fully soaked through while in use. they’re not too warm, so they’re very usable during warmer months. that also means it’s best to double up or opt for warmer gloves when it’s particularly cold (below ~40f). overall killer quality for the price!
