This is a GREAT price and a GREAT product. It took some trial and error to get the thickness that I personally like, but I sorted it out. I applied a thick layer, let it dry for 30 minutes and it came off in one piece, just like at my spa. I will certainly purchase some of the other masks. I bought the turmeric this time. LOVE IT!!!

You need to mix with very little filtered water, and apply it quick before it start to dry. Every time I use this face mask, it leaves my face bright, shinny and clean. I’ve already got a few compliments on my skin and it is thanks to this product. You’ll love the chunks of dry turmeric and roses in it. Note: it doesn’t not remove black heads, this is a moisturizer and cleaning face mask.

I ordered this DIY mask in turmeric and so far I like it. It's great that it comes in such a large quantity. Shelf life of the mask is just okay. I ordered this in Jan 24 and the shelf life has an expiration date of 8/24 (8 months). It would be nice if the shelf life was a year since this is a lot of product and I'm not entirely sure I could go through it in 7/8 months. The mask is pretty easy to mix and make BUT, the jar itself doesn't not specific the proper ratio of dried mask powder and water. The listing does reference the proper parts and ratio but, the jar it self does not. The ingredients are mostly straight forward and pretty easy to recognize. There's only a couple I didn't immediately recognize. As for a mask, the mask smells wonderful like a fresh orange once mixing it. It only takes a minute or two for the mask to fully mix. The mask is very cool and refreshing on application. It does feel a lot like a jelly mask. The best advice I could give would be to be heavy handed with applying the mask. The mask is kind of thick and definitely feels like a jelly mask. The edges of the mask get a little crusty and don't remove as easily. The rest of the mask peels or rolls off pretty easily. Where the mask is applied thick or heavy headed it rolls or peels off easily. I found where I was light on application ended up being difficult or more abrasive to remove the mask. The thin spots got crusty and feel a little abrasive on my skin to remove. A wet cloth did help a lot with removing the thin spots. The thin spots that took a little friction to remove did leave my skin a little flushed looking but my skin tone also evening out pretty quickly. The instructions say to leave the mask on for 15 - 20 minutes but, I found the mask is usually ready to be removed around 15 minutes. After fully removing the mask it was immediately noticeable how bright and even my complexion looked. After using this mask my skin looks noticeably more even and bright. I don't fee like this mask did much for hydration but, it definitely did even my skin out after just one use. It also didn't dry out of strip my skin. Overall, I do like this mask a lot. It absolutely works for brightening and evening my complexion. It has good ingredients and feels good to use. It leaves my skin looking radiant, even and healthy. I was worried it might irritate my skin or cause break outs but, it didn't have any adverse side effects. I'm very please with my results and this DIY mask and would absolutely recommend it!

Mask is in a large transparent container, has 23oz. Jar had a protective seal under the lid that had to be removed, seal is extremely thin and I ended up putting my finger straight through into the mask. Underside of the cap has brownish stains that almost look like water stains. Mask initially comes in a powder form with tiny rose petal pieces mixed in. Powder is basically corn starch and the texture is abrasive like corn starch, formula contains zea mays starch and maltodextrin. Has a citrusy based scent. Powder is also capable of producing aerosol “dust” when messing with the jar so be careful if you’re around anyone with underlying lung conditions, I also try not to get too close. Instructions on container are really vague and basically advising you to DIY it. Directions say to mix mask with water until it’s particle free and apply evenly, no type of measurements are listed anywhere. When getting the powder to start mixing with water have a scoop of some kind so it doesn’t pour out. Would be better if a generic mass produced scoop was included. Mixing the powder is easy. Tiny petal pieces feel like they are dehydrated and most breakdown but, a few stay intact no matter how much you try to mix them. Mask does turn into a thick jelly like viscosity but, keeps a slight gritty undertone from the starch base. Applying is easy when you do one thick layer, it goes on without a problem. If you try to go back over areas to apply more or you do more than one layer the base mask that’s already applied will migrate when you go back over it, this leaves splotchy uneven areas. Mask dries pretty quickly considering how thick it is. There’s an abrasive outline left once mask dries that consists of the dried starch that goes all the way around, this outline is clearly visible. Removing is easy as most of the mask can be removed in larger sections, if mask is applied really thick it has a better chance of coming off in one solid piece. Will still have to remove the gritty outline, I used a soaked sponge and didn’t have an issue. Formula wise it has some decent ingredients with the antioxidants, humectants, retinol, etc. Provides a brightening effect. It’s beneficial but, only to a certain extent since the mask essentially creates a film that just sits on the skin mainly. Personally, I would prefer to get a concentrated Serum for the same price point instead.

Turmeric is so good for brightening and refining skin tone and texture. This jelly mask is so easy to use. Just add a small amount of liquid (I use aloe juice) to some powder (about 1 TBS) until it forms a viscous gel and apply to skin. Allow it to dry for around 20 minutes (more or less is fine too). Simply rinse - I use cool water- and finish with a clean soft cloth. Follow with your regular skin care routine. My skin feels refreshed and soft after using this mask. I use it twice a week.

I love jelly masks, and I love the satisfying feeling as you peel them off your face like a snake shedding its skin. Like all self-mixed jelly masks, it takes a little practice to get the right proportions so it peels off well, so I did end up with a messy, flaky removal on a couple occasions. once you get the hang of it, though, this mask works really well. No irritation and my skin feels great.
