I really wanted to love this machine, and in many ways I still do. The De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo makes genuinely great coffee once you dial everything in. The grinder, dosing, and pressure control give you that proper hands-on barista feel, and when you get it right, the espresso is easily café quality. The steam wand is powerful too, so making milk drinks at home is not a problem at all. (My son loves his babychino) Like others mentioned, there is a bit of a learning curve. You will waste a few shots figuring out grind size and dosage, but that is part of the experience with machines like this. Once it clicks, it becomes part of your daily routine. Now the issue I ran into, and it is a serious one. The soft water filter balls that come with the machine are a poor design in my opinion. I followed the manual and placed them in the water reservoir, but somehow a few of them made their way into the system and ended up reaching the filter. That caused a problem and I had to send the machine in for repair, which is not something you expect from a product at this level. That part honestly shouldn’t happen, and it took away from an otherwise solid experience. Aside from that, the machine itself feels well built and capable. If you are into making your own coffee and don’t mind a bit of trial and error, it delivers. Just be careful with those filter balls or consider skipping them entirely.

Please help? I bought the product and at first use was working good, second time on turning on the machine only ok button light works, after one day of use when turning on all light turn on then shut off except for the middle OK button which the only button works now please help me

We returned if after few days because I was not able to make good foam for my cappuccino. The manual steamer makes the milk boiling very fast, it started splashing over my fingers before the foam was even there, tried few times with different milk types and different techniques, maybe you have to know very well what you are doing, but for a normal household it wasn’t good

I recently purchased the De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo EC9255.M, attracted by its features and the brand's reputation. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory. Within a short period of ownership, I encountered significant issues with both the grinder and coffee pump ceasing to function. Efforts to resolve these problems through the designated repair service proved frustrating and unsuccessful, compounded by a lack of professionalism and accountability from the service team. Despite multiple repair attempts, the machine remains dysfunctional, with issues unresolved and additional parts missing post-service. This ordeal has not only inconvenienced me but also led to unexpected additional expenses without a resolution in sight. I had high expectations for this coffee machine and the support services behind it, but my experience has been disheartening. I cannot recommend this product based on the quality of customer service and reliability issues I've encountered.

happy with purchase and product. came super fast and we love coffee made like in coffee shop. we had to try different beans and found our settings for grinding and dosage. super powerful milk frother and option of cold brew became also very handy especially during hot days with iced latte.

After being in my barista weeks, I generally learned how to use it. Still not mastering the milk frothing. Coffee quality is very good, the machine is amazing. Totally recommend it!

Great product. However the one feature I find stupid is the 1 or 2 cup option. If you choose the 2 cup option you always get too much coffee dispensed and if you try and proceed the machine will get clogged up. Such a simple problem introduced for what reason? I suspect there are many units, they are all similar with different electronics in and this unit is just a little smaller than some others. Otherwise a very good machine

I love this machine, it took a few wasted beans to get to the correct grind setting for the chosen beans then to get to a decent pressure to produce the the coffee to get to the correct taste but it’s amazing to use and a fantastic purchase.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday as he had wanted a bean to cup coffee machine for so long. I must say it has not disappointed, once you have all your dosage and grind perfected the coffee is so good. Lovely addition of a milk frother as a barista myself this made the perfect latte milk. The milk jug it comes with is a little on the small side so I purchased a bigger one which is just right and also got myself a milk thermometer to have the perfect temperature. It's very aesthetically pleasing and budget friendly. I would definitely recommend for a nice coffee shop quality coffee at home 😊☕

It takes some getting used to, getting the coffee grind and dose level correct, as well as the best beans to use (which is obvs more personal taste). Once I'd made several cups as trial and error and used barista videos on YouTube etc I found the best setting and have not looked back and use this machine several times a day and haven't touched my Nespresso machine since. The cold brew feature takes a while to make the coffee but it is very good. At the time I bought this it was around £150 cheaper than John Lewis, but the price here on Amazon kept fluctuating greatly and I got a good deal. Keep at it if you buy it, it'll be worth it.
