One week. Seven days. One hundred and sixty-eight hours to death. Phoenix Du Rose has inherited her motherโs restorative nature, but thatโs exactly what will get her into trouble. Some problems are too big for a well-intentioned teenager to fix and some people just donโt want her kind of help. The brochure for the summer camp promised sunshine, beach rides and friendship. The reality is different. Phoenix finds something hidden in a barn near the camp, something that shouldnโt be there. Running from a family conflict, Phoenix arrives at the camp full of hope and innocence. But nothing is the way it seems and by the end of the seven days, someone will be dead. One week is all it takes to change a life forever. Review: Phoenix at 15, wow; where did the time go? - A truly inspirational story in the Du Rose series! This story hits on some very factual feelings & emotions that most people go through in life. My question is: what happened in the 9 or 10 years between the last story & this one? Also, why not have a book about Mac & Edin in the series? I just thoroughly enjoy the series! I'd love to keep reading about the other relatives in the family. Great for ages 13 & up (to 150+). Enjoy & get involved in a book! Review: Everyone needs to read this fabulous author! - As always, I look forward to reading a Du Rose Series Book. Phoenix was a precocious and sweet child and itโs inevitable that she stumbles and isnโt sure of which way to turn when her support system ( her family) arenโt there to rely on as she matures. But sheโs young and sheโs smart enough to realize that she can always call upon her father and mother for advice. I do wish there had been more of the Du Rose family included in the story though. Can never get enough of this fascinating family. Looking forward to the next one!

Awesome
I've read all Kate's books they are all great reading. Her characters are exceptional. I couldn't put this book down, as I couldn't in all this series. Hate it when book is done. Can't wait for the next one.

Du rose
I have read every book in the Du Rose series and loved every single one of them - most i couldn't put down and read in a day or two... this one wasn't as good as some of the earlier ones but still an amazing read (I just think I like Hanas stories more)

Highly Recommended
Having read all the Du Rose books, this latest installment about Hana's and Logan's daughter, Phoenix, does not disappoint. Phoenix has inherited a mix of her parents strengths and burgeoning adulthood means she experiences plenty of conflict as she attempts to put the world to rights KT's innate ability to write engrossing prose ensures the reader shares the same experiences as the characters, and see things through their eyes. Whilst references are made to other characters in the series, this book can be read as a standalone novel.

Another excellent story by the author!
This continuation of the Du Rose Saga is as wonderful as the previous chapters. I fell in love with Phoenix when she was a child and I am looking forward to more adventures with her. The author's ability to express the emotion when she writes is amazing. When I read her books I become engrossed and simply have a hard time putting my tablet away, but while I'm swept away in the adventure I am able to escape the problems of the real world. I'm hoping someone will make these stories into a mini series, or, at the very least, a movie!
