To start, if you are on the fence about buying this sharpener because you are concerned about how your pencils will perform you can stop here and purchase the sharpener, I have never used such sharp pencils in my life. This sharpener came secure in small plasic cases and was not damaged in shipping. The machine quality of this sharpener and the keychain I purchased is unbelieveable. Smooth textured surfaces and perfectly beveled edges, nothing sharp where it shouldnt be ;). The stainless steel blade made by KUM was not mounted properly and I needed to unscrew it with a T9 star bit and properly set it into place. Before I properly mounted the blade it would snap my pencil head off every time while sharpening. After I started using this to sharpen my pencils at school I fell in love. Always on my belt, always avaliable, and always produced extremely fine well angled pencil tips. I also use this to sharpen crayola colored pencils and it makes quick work of them. I will say I reccomend grabbing the magnetic attachment (pictured) by KeyUnity as well because I dont imagine it is too fun to detach your key ring and jingle your keys around every time you need to sharpen.

It’s worth its money! I was very unsure if I should really spend this much on a pencil sharpener. I have not regretted it once. I use one of the companies D-rings to attach it to a leather pouch (also same company) and it works out perfectly. I absolutely fell in love with the titanium products that key unity makes. Check them out if you like or need cool d-rings, carabiners or small pocket knives.

Not cheap, but the best sharpener I've found. Produces uniform pencil taper and point.

This thing is the worst. The first one I ordered came in an empty package. Amazon sent out another. When I got this one, the hole is too narrow to sharpen any of my pencils. I basically bought a 40-dollar piece of metal. This thing is useless. I basically threw 40 dollars out the window.

Very well made - I just wish it was a long taper point instead of a short sharp- angled point…

I am a pencil lover. I own #354 Graf Von Stellar Edition Perfect Pencil ($800). Plus I have my personal collection of favorites starting from 1970's Santa Fe Pencil they gave train conductors. That being said, I purchased this beaut' because I needed a pen at work to take notes on load sheets. There were no pens around in the whole warehouse - but there were pencils. All the pencils were either unsharpened, dull or sunk past the wood where they couldn't be wrote with. I have no problem writting at work with a pencil, but, there isn't a sharpener in the whole warehouse as well. I felt upset. I wanted a sharpener that I could keep on me that is: Compact, durable, keychain friendly, sharp, all metal, cool design and can have the blade changed if needed. Amidst my serach I com across this bundle-of-joy. It was my everything. I love it and it sits and fits compactly on my keychain. It is now a part of my EDC.

Cons: feels like a piece of lead. Pros: sharpens well and seems to be consistent. I put it on my key chain and try to look cool sharpening my pencil.

I’m good at losing things. So I bought this pencil sharpener, the D-ring, and attached it to a lanyard. Because I can wear it, it’s one less thing I need to track in my shop.

El sacapuntas portatil Sacapuntas portátil de KeyUnity modelo KT00 viene muy bien presentado en un pequeño, plano y alargado estuche de plástico con cierre. En su interior encontramos el sacapuntas en un envoltorio plástico envasado al vacío y una tarjeta de agradecimiento. Esta sacapuntas esta fabricado en Alemania, con un cuerpo de aleación de titanio TC4 muy resistente, y una afilada hoja de acero alemán que es extraíble para su posterior mantenimiento quitando previamente un tornillo. Es realmente muy compacto, con unas dimensiones de 34 mm de largo por 17 mm de diámetro, y un peso muy ligero de tan solo 18g, En su diseño cuenta con unos agujeros de 8 mm en el cabezal por si queremos tenerlo siempre a mano en nuestro llavero. Para mi es muy practico ya que soy diseñador y hay veces me vuelvo loco buscando el sacapuntas. Ahora me es fácil encontrarlo sabiendo que esta siempre junto a mis llaves. Es apto para afilar cualquier tipo de lapicero de 8 mm, y tras probarlo con varios lápices la verdad que el resultado es muy bueno, sacando una punta perfecta de la mina del lapicero y sin astillar o resquebrajar la madera del cuerpo del lápiz expulsando unas virutas prácticamente enteras. ✅ En general puedo decir que es el mejor sacapuntas que he tenido la oportunidad de probar hasta la fecha. Es muy premium. Su construcción y materiales son realmente fantásticos, y seguramente durada toda una vida. Pensé que por el precio sería de mucha calidad, pero no corta de la mejor manera como yo quisiera pcol debería funcionar.
