I wanted to try a twist on the original moscow mule and created a Mediterranean mule. Adding the rosemary elixir with some Fig Vodka just elevated the drink to a whole other level! Add your ginger beer and a sprig of rosemary and voila! The elixir itself smells like the pine forest and rosemary and tasting it, has a sweet and refreshing flavor. Completely worth it!

Sweet but definitely a nice rosemary flavor. I recommend but if making a cocktail that calls for simple syrup think about eliminating or reducing when using this.

Ordered for the first time and used in champagne and soda water. My friends and I loved it! It’s concentrated and a little goes a long way. We will be trying other flavors soon!

I was not impressed by this elixir. If I could’ve returned it, I would -it just didn’t have the flavor we were looking for. In fact, it hardly any flavor.

This simple syrup tastes so fresh! It’s ideal for Cocktails. Add a fresh sprig of rosemary to vodka, grapefruit and a splash of club soda!

I love the flavor of rosemary and this syrup was too intriguing to pass up. This syrup makes a wonderful addition to a variety of drinks both hard and soft, it mixes easily into liquids, and the flavor is quite tasty! This syrup has a bold rosemary flavor with hints of citrus that is quite versatile and mixes well with a multitude of flavors. It's excellent in tea and lemonade, and makes for a very refreshing summer drink. The recommended serving of one Tablespoon per 8 oz. of liquid is just right for maximum flavor impact without being too strong or overwhelming. This syrup does not state that it needs refrigeration and to keep it in a cool and dark place. I put it in the fridge anyhow since there's few cool and dark places in my house, and the syrup does start to crystalize some. The crystals quickly melt and disappear when added to drinks. The ingredients list matches the images and is short and clean. I do have hesitation about "plant based color" since I have Celiac and cannot trust unspecified ingredient sources- gluten hides in much more than you would think and cross-contamination is also an issue for me. Labels that say 'gluten free' have gotten me sick in the past since gluten hides in unexpected places beyond just wheat, and it can sometimes be found in carriers of colorings. The threshold for a food item to be called gluten free according to the FDA is <20ppm, but the only safe number for Celiac is zero and I don't take chances. This syrup arrived fully sealed, without leaks, and in perfect condition. The bottle is gorgeous and I'm keeping it when the syrup is gone. I do think that 24 USD for this 8.5 oz./250 ml bottle is steep and puts it solidly into "occasional treat" territory. It will last a while since only a tablespoon is needed, but rosemary is not rare or hard to grow, and the price seems higher than I would choose. This botanical syrup is a great addition to give drinks a change-up, and my household loves it.

Absolutely love this stuff -- my local pizzeria offers a Rosemary Lemonade and I wanted to try and recreate it at home, and this does the job! (My husband and I are also big fans of the Cherry Blossom, Prickly Pear, and Orange Blossom flavours.) Also can't say enough good things about Floral Elixir's customer service. A little goes a long way, so the price is definitely worth it.
