I hesitate to do 1000 pieces due to lack of time and I think they are too hard BUT I loved this image and with the letters on back thought I would give it a go. I LOVED it. Sorted the letters then separated the border pieces. Did section by section and am now proud of myself. I am seeking other puzzles with letters on the back now. I know some don't like them but you can ignore if you like. The image is so fun. It's portrait rather than horizontal so a little awkward using the puzzle space I have. Some would probably say the pieces were a little thin. I use an egg slice to pick up pieces that I have put together on the side or they don't stay together.

This is my second Bboldin jigsaw puzzle and I’ve placed them on the top of my list of favorite puzzle makers, along with the New York Puzzle Company. I like the artwork —the colors are vibrant but not overly bright or exaggerated. The pieces are sturdy and fit well together and there is no dust. The pieces are random cut. (I’m not a fan of ribbon cut puzzles/pieces, but that’s just personal preference.) The pieces have a slightly glossy finish that brings out the color. The back side of the puzzle is divided into six sections, A through F. Each piece has a letter on the back that indicates which section the piece belongs to. You can use this to make the puzzle easier, or ignore it. The poster is helpful, although there is not an exact color match between the poster and the pieces, but it’s close. There were no missing pieces.

I had wanted to work on a door puzzle, and this one was so much fun! Vivid color, no missing pieces, and so challenging! It was a great value for the money, and I’m looking forward to another door puzzle! I look forward to pulling this one off the shelf again!

This was so fun to put together! The shiny finish was a surprise but it was easy to get used to. The colors/images were a little less distinct, particularly in the dark, shadowy spaces, which added an enjoyable challenge.
