Can't seem to get it to work.The company that it came from don't seem to help me either.Not happy at all if i can't get it to work over the next few days will be wanting to send it back.The program that is used is over 4 years old.

Worked right out of the box with the Mac software. Easily aligned and centred with live view. Camera software and stacking software both good (Mac versions in my case) but you'll need to search online for help with the stacking software. The tacky looking picture can be peeled off the metal casing. No heating problems. Recommended if you're trying planetary/lunar photography for the first time.

A very convenient unit to fitting on a Newtonian Telescope. The imaging software is fairly straightforward especially if the user has experience of Photoshop and stacking software and processes.

This looks to be a solid unit for the telescope, but overall I am being a bit slow to set it all up, and star gaze in all seriousness.But what I have seen so far has been good

unfortunately this item did not work with my telescope and I had to return it.

This camera basically doesn't work. I've tried repeatedly to update the software to my laptop to no avail. The Orion 'customer support' are utterly useless. As it stands, I've bought a £170 paperweight. Very very disappointed with Orion.

not so easy to master but once you know how to deal with it, the result are really goodworth all the moneyvery good quality.

Fantastic piece of kit, the ability to zoom in was mind blowing.

This camera does not work with Mac even though it's clearly listed that it does. I was able to get a few good shots at the beginning but software included constantly crashes and freezes and now I can't even get it to start. I contacted Orion tech support and they told me to get a new lap top or sell the camera online. I've also read on some online forums of many others having the same issue. The Orion tech in an email says it doesn't support Mac and in the very next sentence says that it could be because I may be using the newest Sierra OS which I hadn't even downloaded yet. Don't waste your time or money.

Articolo di buona qualità, ma il softwere in dotazione, in particolare al linkeos x mac viene fornito nella versione 2.06, non compatibile con MacOs Sierra. Va spesso in crash. Bisogna installare la versione 2.10, molto più stabile. Non posso fornire un giudizio in relazione ad altri articoli del genere, ma mi ritengo soddisfatto. La foto sotto è realizzata con un riflettore da 114mm, dal balcone di casa, con tanto inquinamento luminoso.

I have a new MacBook Pro with El Capitan. I could not get the camera to take a video with longer than about 1 second exposures. It crashed over and over. I tried varying many options, rebooting, etc. very frustrated. I contacted Orion. Their reply was that they had a known issue with El Capitan and did not know when it would get fixed. Given the software is at 1.0 and has been for a while, I have no expectation it will get fixed. For someone who has spent over $1500 on my Orion telescope and accessories, I will be shifting to other brands until they fix this.

Bonne caméra astronomique. par contre, malgré ce qui est précisé sur différents sites internet, elle n'est pas compatible avec Windows 8 et plus.j'ai du l'installer sur un vieux PC avec Windows 7. Impossible de trouver des mises à jour! Dommage car elle est de bonne qualité.
