Before this I had a very expensive, name brand camera. It did us well for 4 1/2 years until the antenna snapped off. My son is getting older, so a camera isn't REALLY necessary anymore, but I found myself still wanting to watch when he first goes down, and early in the morning if I wake up before he does. So I started searching for a replacement when I came across this one. It had (almost) everything I was looking for but was skeptical.. there weren't a lot of reviews, all 5 stars. Though they are "verified" I have come to not always trust that as I have seen identical "verified" reviews on different products in the past. (Not on this one but like I said, skeptical). I also tried searching for other reviews elsewhere on the internet and didn't really come up with anything.. but for $70 (on sale) for 2 cameras and large monitor though I figured I would take the chance anyway. Worst case scenario I return it. Best case scenario I got a steal. Well, it has only been a few days now but I thought I would leave an honest review to help others finding themselves in a similar position. If anything changes, I will edit my review. It works, the cameras connected with no problem. The picture quality is a bit fuzzy, especially compared to the name brand one we had for so long, but I can see well enough. The quality kind of reminds me of the pictures you would take on your cell phone in 2006. Clear, but not crisp. Night vision works with similar quality. It works for me, I can see if he's awake and I can tell if he is ok or not. There is no zoom function, and the picture is the equivalent of the name brand monitor zoomed in. But again, I can see him just fine where I have it set up so thats all that matters to me. But just be warned it will be tricky to set up and have a clear view of the whole room. But as of now those are really the only down sides to this monitor, which don't really make a difference to me since it does not hinder me in any way from what my intentions are with it. What I am pleasantly surprised about is that there are actually a couple things I like better with this set than the name brand one. The monitor is twice the size, so even though its a little fuzzy I can still clearly see the picture even from a distance (for example, I have it sitting on a counter and I'm on the other side if the kitchen making coffee or something. I can look over and still see hes sleeping, which I couldn't with the other.) The other day I set up the second one in the living room while I went out to shovel the driveway. Doing the first half I was able to have the monitor sitting on something and I could hear and still see him. As I started the second half, closer to the road I put the monitor in my pocket so I could atleast still hear him. This brings me to the second thing I am impressed about with this monitor. With the name brand one I could barely get out the door outside without losing signal. In fact, the old one was so finicky with signal I would randomly lose it constantly no matter how close or far I was, even before the antenna started to get loose and eventually snapped off, never mind going outside with it (another plus btw, it doesn't have an external antenna so no worries of this one snapping off! Lol). Not once, even with it in my pocket, not even when I went across the street to clear my mailbox, I did not lose signal. The last thing that surprised me with this monitor is the microphone feature. With my name brand one, if I wanted to talk to him and hit the button it would mute the sound from his room while I was holding it. But I discovered that that is not the case with this one. I can still hear him talking even if I'm holding the microphone button which makes it a little easier to actually have a conversation with him that way if I need to. The range of how far the camera can turn is also impressive and actually exceeds the name brands abilities. This setup works perfect for us and our needs and was exactly what I was looking for. The picture isn't the best, and how zoomed in it is makes it difficult and sometime impossible to get a full view of a room, but not a deal breaker in the least. The areas that this actually exceeds the more expensive one more than makes up for where it lacks, including it coming with TWO cameras that I can view in a split screen if I choose where as the other only came with one. If you are in a similar position as me, or new parents on a budget, or anywhere in between I would certainly suggest this set up. For the price it can't be beat. I felt compelled to write this review to try to help others who are as skeptical as I was, and hopefully I have done just that.

This system is amazing! The two cameras and split screen option is the absolute best, especially when my little ones are napping and my older children are playing in a different room. The range is awesome, so I can move around comfortably, knowing that I am still able to keep an eye on my loved ones. I love that it doesn't run on wifi, so I don't have to worry about losing connection if the wifi drops. The quality of the sound and video is great. The color and night vision is very detailed. You can't beat the price for what you get- well worth it! The customer service is also incredible! Easy to communicate and work with and they make sure your satisfaction is met. I've used a few other monitors in the past, but this one is superior in my opinion. I could not be happier with this system! Amazing! Highly recommend!!!

I have had the monitor for a little over a year and the function of it works great. It is easy to move to camera, speak through it, clear picture. Now my issue is that it is hard to get it to charge. I thought it was the charging cord so I have bought a new one but it must be something with the connection in the monitor. I tried to reach out to the company but the email does not exist that they have on the website connected through Amazon. So overall the monitor is good, especially for the price, but longevity does not seem great and I will likely need to get a whole new system because there is no way to just buy the screen.UPDATE: my sister has the same monitor and had the correct US email contact. It is service2@blemil.us. They are very responsive. Changing to 5 stars because my other more expensive monitors have also lasted just as long and their customer service did not repair or replace. Just bought my second Blemil since we need an additional camera anyway with a new baby arriving.

It is pretty easy to set up. The picture quality is good, no freezing. There is volume control which is great! The battery seems to last quite a while for me. It’s a good camera for the price. The night vision is also good and clear. The only thing I don’t like is that the 2 way talk feature is extremely quiet.

This has been perfect for us to move around the house while keeping an eye on the sleeping baby.It was very easy to set up, the camera's screen size is pleasing, and its day & night vision is plenty satisfactory. The monitor's battery also lasts a good time and finally, really love that it's a closed loop system, no need to worry about others tapping into your video feed.Only two minor complaints:1) The zoom feature is very basic, and frankly I wish it was more zoomed OUT than it is.2) The temperature reading report is flat out wrong, off by more than 4 degrees for us. Definitely have a separate thermometer in the room if you care, don't go by this cam sensor
