Bought these black round-head self-tapping screws for a quick job and I have to say… absolute little champions. If you’ve ever used cheap screws before, you’ll know the usual routine: the head strips, the screw bends, you question your life choices, and suddenly a five-minute job turns into a 40-minute argument with a drill. Not these. These things bite straight in like they’ve got somewhere important to be. No slipping, no drama, just a satisfying whirr and suddenly the thing you’re fixing is actually… fixed. Also the black finish is a nice touch. Instead of shiny “look at me” screws ruining the vibe, these just sit there quietly doing their job like tiny undercover agents holding everything together. Strong, tidy, and refreshingly cooperative. 10/10. Would trust these little legends to hold together both my DIY projects and possibly my emotional stability.

A good price for a variety of round headed screws for light work requiring size 3mm. Time will tell with respect to sturdiness.

Shinney silver screws in four lengths of the M5 size arrived in small plastic bags and worked well with my little project. My drill with a Phillips bit drove them into the wood to put up a set of sturdy stair banisters. The length variety gave me the flexibility to select a combination of lengths suitable for each bracket. Arrived quickly and they matched my silver brackets perfectly.

Had the distinct impression that these were undersize, but they did the job. Used with a 2mm tapping hole and a 3mm clearance hole, hence the undersize comment.
