It also helps keep your camera from getting scuffed up.Package also comes with one concave surface and one bulged surface shutter release. With easy access to the battery/sd-card door. It also has a cut-out on the left side rear for easy access to the door that protects the microphone and usb ports. Both the bottom and the left side are Arca-Swiss compatible, and it fits RRS and 3 Legged Thing tripod heads on both sides.
